We started our May out with Family and a very early morning. We went to the Amy's for Nathan's birthday. The kids were not happy that we had to leave early or leave at all.
You know I have to say a few things about the business. WOW start up takes a long time. I just hope I don't use up all my steam. I was finally able to finish my logo. That helped start up a facebook and make business cards. My trainer also sent me flower. It was a sweet thought. I got my first order of bras. Now to just find people to buy them. I was able to do my first training with a day of fittings. It was a great learning opportunity. I finished my training at the end of May by going to Logan for a day. I tried on most of the bras style, to receive first hand knowledge.
I had Timbers kids for a Day. Denim and Blazen helped me seal our curbing. It took way longer than we thought it would. I took all 5 kids to Panda for their reward (Timber had taken Darlin). I had 2 people tell me how good the kids were, and how helpful the older 2 were. I hope I can follow Timbers example of raising great kids.
I took all of them to the river trail. They loved playing in the very cold water. They said that it looked like a dragon cave. I had to go pick up Timber why the kids stayed and played. Note:scooters are the best butt work out.
Side note about the river trail: Denali has been loving his bike, he just needed a little more confidence so we went on a lot of big bike rides. Colvin can only handle the bike trailer for so long. He has to get out and run every once in awhile. Denim came and stayed a few days. We took bikes from Park to Park (just over 10 miles in total). I have wanted to do that for 6 yrs. After 10 miles Denali got the confidence he needed. Funny story:Denali had his first crash with a tree on the river trail and the sad thing was I was not even there. About Denim's stay: the first day she watched the boys all day. They had fun and got to eat at McDonald. I also took her swimming. The boys could not get enough of her. She said that me and her mom does the same things. Cleaning and how we yell.
The main thing Greg wanted to do in our back yard was a fire pit. After hours of research (Greg does nothing on a wim) He decided the best thing to do was buy brick and make it. We fit 48+ stones into our van. Then we had to remake the fire pit about 3 times. However, the work was worth it, it is all we dreamed of. We had 2 hot dog roast before it got too hot. This fall it will be fun.
MOTHERS DAY! For mothers day I got what I asked for. I got a edger (no not sarcasm) I really love the look of edged lawn. Greg thought I was crazy but he loves me. Denali had a mom and me lunch. He made me a book all about me. Highlight: my favorite thing to do: Clean. The boys got me a hanging basket and some flowers. We went to Sonya's for dinner, and went to see Greg's mom. My boys are goofs and I love them more than words. Being a mom is the best (most of the time).
Big News for our back yard: We GOT SOD, it looks so nice. The only down side the boys cannot play on it for a few weeks. The blessing is that is has rained off and on for the last few weeks. Blessing part one: the boys don't want to go outside. Blessing 2: you cannot water sod enough.
Colvin TURNED 4: See birthday blog but some highlights. We went to classic skating, they have bounce houses the kids LOVED. There was a group of sister missionary's that sang to him. Colvin also finished Pre-school. He was over Joyed, it was over!!
Deanli graduated from Kinagarden. He had a great year and a great teacher. His little program was so cute. They sang and did a little dance. We are all ready for a fun crazy summer.
Our summer plans had to slow down. PROCTOR #3 is on their way. I was only going to tell my parents and Greg sisters but we had to let the cat out of the bag. Some major tell tell signs: One night I wanted Nachos I left the house at 9pm to pick up nachos. I have been so tired.
Our goal is to make as many memories with our kids as possible. We took them bowling. (also it is $0.99 summer) Colvin can do about 1.5 games before he is done. Another fun thing we did was hiked the Y. Being pregnant and sick was not a good combo. We all made it because we can do hard thing. The boys walked the whole time, they were so proud of themselves. The boys got to go the the dentist (they think that is like going to Santa work shop) They each had a cavity, Santa work shop may not be as fun after a filling.
Denali lost his first tooth. He played with it for days and would not even let us touch it. Sad thing is I was not there when it feel out. Greg was awesome and sent me pictures. He did not even cry. He did love the tooth fairy money.
When dropping off Denaim we went to the Sand dunes. I forgot how fun that place was.
We ended May with family. Sierra came for a summer trip. We went to the Park and with all the rain the play ground flooded. The kids had fun playing in the gross water.
Greg had to take a profile pictures for work. Had to show off my hot and sexy my husband.
Stories:Some times it is just the little things we do. With our cubing they had to cut out some of our front sod. I took it over to a neighbor. It was great service for me and I got to know her better.*I started a self-reliance class. The moment school got out people dropped like fly's. I still need this program I will endure.
*The lords loves us and shows us in little ways all the time. Greg has to work a Sunday a month. A tender mercies. My hair works wonderful on the Sundays he works and the boys are great during church. Things just work!
*On mother day Rusti was at Sonya's I got to talk to him a little. He understands the kids need him. I am glad he wants all it not just her.
*The boys came up stairs screaming one morning. I thought something was really wrong until I got the story. The cat was running on the grass and Daddy had said no running. They were scared daddy was going to be mad at the cat. Greg was so proud they had listened to him about the grass.
*We got new dinning room chairs. Denali was shocked that the chairs did not move.
