You
learn the same lessons over and over with different scenarios constantly. DONT
unless your life depends on it (because you are forfeiting life) wake up
Denali. It is ok if he is late to school. I have been listening to a self-help
book (that is my driving book) McCarty gave me sound advice
regarding self-help books. There are going to be things you already do, things
you dismiss and things you can improve. Pick one or two things to improve. My
two for this current book, when I fight only do "I" sentences. Do not
blame. Try really hard not to blow up on my kids. Another lesson I learned was,
you can find common ground with anyone. You just cannot fight your differences,
work on your unity. I have a cousin; we have not seen eye to eye on some lifestyles
choose. However, when a different topic came up, he was 110% on my side. Fighting
helps no-one.
I got apples off one of my trees. They are small but I grew something. The boys got new belts. Denali's next belt will advance him to the higher class (going to be 6ms) Colvin might move to the older class next belt. I love how hard they work. I have loved experimenting with new hair styles on Azalyn. I love doing her hair, I hate doing my hair. Colvin lost his first 2 teeth. He did not want to pull them, so they fell out on their own. He especially loved the money from the tooth fairy.
We were finally able to get together for moms’ birthday and our early Christmas. TRIP, it did not start as planned but that just creates more memories. I would say just look at the pictures, but we did not take a whole lot of picture. Having too much fun to stop. Fast overview: I took my van in for an oil change, at the beginning of the week. It also needed new tires (found that out because my van was shaking driving Denali to school. He asked why the van was dancing) They only had 2 (shipping is taking longer thanks to COVID). They could not put them on till the day we left. We got the van at 2 and left by 2:30. It was the longest trip ever, road construction and wrecks. It was worth it. Saturday went to the lake and took turns on the boat. Everyone went out at least once. My boys went out EVERY time from 10 am to 5 pm the boys were on the boat. Mom stayed calm and we had a good time. Sunday, we took family pictures, and it was not half bad. YES, we had crying and screaming (not just from the kids) but we just laughed and Joked it off. Dad wanted to have a church service and it was powerful. Dad wanted all the girls to give a talk on motherhood for church. Timber talked about how we as moms stand at the front of our home to defend it. We are the warriors of our home. Charlotte talked about all the little things that our moms teaches us. Ex. ting our shoes. Our moms teach us life skills. Sierra talk about the women in the church, how they can help us. They have been there, and we need to be there for others. McCarty talked about how we might not need friends, but others might need US. We need to be the friend for them. My talk was: The effect of motherhood outside the home. I had no inspiration, Greg inspired me. How your kids act outside the home reflects on you at a mom. We are seeing the lack there off now. In Areas of the country people are smashing homes and building. Destroying other proper. I asked that boys what would happen if then did that. Colvin: spank our butts Denali: time out for 100 yrs. And NO FREE FREE TIME We were not taught racism in our home. We were taught that we should be kind to everyone and to be friend the underdog. It would not have mattered if the person was black, blue, purple, or white we were to treat them all the same. If we would have been mean to anyone Black, Blue, Purple or White we would have been wiped. It is very import for my kids to be polite; please and thank you. When I start teaching my kids how to be polite you realize how rude people are. And you have to be more polite. There is a quote; behind everyone good man there is a good woman. There is some great example of good mothers in the scriptures how do we know they were great because of the things their sons did outside the home. One example is Rachel she was the mother of Joseph who was sold into Egypt. He became 2nd only to pharaoh. Another is Lucy Mac Smith she was the mother of Joseph Smith. He was the first prophet of this dispensation. How we rase our kids reflect on us the most when they are NOT in our presents. I hope that every day you are at school or play you are making sure your mom would be proud of you because of your action. After a powerful day Satan how to bring out the big guns. We had a water fight, and it did not end well. The show must go: Mom got out her double dutch rope and yes, I can still double dutch. My pants fell off, but I did not stop. We stayed an extra day (Greg had an interview that did not happen) but it was worth it getting some one-on-one time. We went out to bours since the wind was crazy. 2020 shined through on the way home, UTAH had 114mph winds. There were truck lining the roads tipped over.
Azalyn is smart she has learned that when my alarms go off to run upstairs to dad. He will turn on baby shark and she is granted free free time why mom is gone. Poor Azalyn, I took her on the Green husky and flipped it. I thought I caught her, but the road caught her face. The next day she fell down a big slide. Bubble wrap for that girl.
We have had the best weather the kids have been outside 90% of the time. Colvin and Azalyn could swing all day every day. I put the net back on the tramp. Azalyn has no fear and brothers think it is fun to bounce her. I sleep on the tramp with BOTH boys and both made it all night. I think it was too cold for Colvin to come in but fun all the same. Why watching my family play a thought hit me, it is all worth it. It is hard to wait and find that worthy man, but it is worth seeing the father of your children play. You are doing it for your future generation. Just hold out! Satan will work extra hard on the things that matter the most. Keep that in mind next time you really want to cross the line.

I love Spanish Fork. It just keeps getting better and better. They opened an all-Abilities
park. The coolest and one of the biggest parks I have ever been too. There is
soo much for everyone to do. We were able to go on opening day and have been
back several times. We discover something new every time. It is close
enough that we can bike there. I biked it once with just me and the kids
(Holden came with us), then Greg was able to bike with us the 2nd
time. Going there is the hard part.
The lord cares about the things you care about no matter how mundane. I was trying to get the kids winter clothing. I was shopping online, and the thought just keep coming, don’t order yet. Then the thought was, go to Wal-Mart. Really Wal-Mart ok. BUT it all worked out perfect. I was able to get everything I wanted for all 3 kids.
For Christmas we let the boys go to the schoolbook fair and pick out books. (this is in memory of Greg’s mom) However I make them pick out books for each other. Denali is big enough that he gets it (kind of) Colvin is still in the “what I want, I will get him” mind set. I love watching them learn.
History was made this month. Greg had all 3 kids for 3 days alone! I was privileged enough to go help Timber. She was in the hospital for 2 days with kidney stones. Greg was wonderful and boy did I miss my kids. Poor Timber, she did good the first day out of the hospital. It was downhill from there. Poor Ace could not handle watching her. He was not happy that she just wanted to lay on the floor. He was not happy that I keep giving her pillows and blankets for her floor “nest.” Azalyn was asleep by the time I got home. She woke up early. Usually, I can give her a bottle and put her back to bed NOPE, just wanted to snuggle. I was ok with that.
Being a mom is really hard work, but I LOVE it 90% of the time. For School Greg had to take a job satisfaction quiz. He got a 19 and I got 119. I guess being a mom really is my dream job. I have to remember that on my hard days. Talking about Greg’s work; he started taking calls. I brought him lunch after (Calls are Friday morning)
We were able to get together for a Proctor Family dinner. Tyler and his family came. It was fun to see them. Their kids are getting so big. Sonya stayed at our house with Hadley. All my kids loved her, Azalyn even wanted to hold her when she was crying. Denali has started to ask for another baby sister. NO!
Since it is almost fall, we ended with a pumpkin patch. It was a new and small, but they had a little train, so everyone was happy. We all had a good time!
