Greg and I have been wanting to get bikes forever. We finally decided to get them this summer. We went all over Provo and Orem looking for the perfect bike. I ended up getting mine at Kmart in Orem. Greg ended up getting his at Target. Greg's sister was nice enough to come and take a bike home for us. We both got hybrids, they ride like a cruisers but they have speeds like a mountain bike. They also have some shocks so you can go on well paved dirt roads.
To bring the bikes home we had to take off the wheels. Greg was putting them on so we could go on a ride. Yes, we did fit my bike in my car. I think we could of fit both of them but Greg said no.
This is me getting ready to ride. The first night we just rode around somerset, but every day we do on longer and longer bike rides.
We had found some really fun thing around our home. We found this park with Swings. I love to swing.
This was our longest bike ride to date. Thanks to Google earth you can come along.
This is the whole map so you can follow along

Other fun thing we did. We walk a 5k. My school was one of the sponsor.

Everyone told me that the walk started at 9, so Greg and I showed up at 8:15. Greg was not too happy waiting, because it actually did not start till 10. I was just having fun snapping pictures.
We had some time to waist. This is my friends little girl. She was showing us her super fast run. She had to put on her face and count to 10 before she could start her super fast run.
This was during the walk. The "school" tried to stay together. It really was not that bad most of the time we were covered by trees and were in the shade.

What a pretty bike route. I can't wait for summer.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for your bikes! That route looked crazy long. I am so impressed! You can totally bike to Greg's parents! And way to go on the 5k!
