Nef Family Reunion

Every two years the Nef's have a whole family reunion. This year my aunt Clarita was in charge. We went to a girls camp up Ogden Canyon. It was so much fun. We did miss some cousins but all my mom siblings came.  I have not seen some of the family for 4 years. ( Greg and I were not able to go to the last family reunion) 

We spent most of time on this desk watching the kids play in the jump house, swimming pool, and the older kids play Volleyball. I spends hours just talking to the family on this deck.

This whole shabang started on a Wednesday. We arrived a little late because I was sick. Timber had stayed the night at our house and the plan was to follow her up. However plans got changed.

Wednesday we just played games. I yelled until I was horse and did not have have a full voice the rest of the time. 

We played hilarium with two desks and about 15 people. It was so fun and CRAZY!!

Thursday started bright and early with fun food and games. My mom had made all her little girls, (Darlin, Denim, Ralyana, Brinley, Breann, and McCarty) Green tutus and then bought them all matching shirts. I am sad that I did not get a picture with them all together.

 Volleyball, Volleyball. Greg loves volleyball, he told me that his back and knees hurt so he was not going to play that much. Well 8 ibprovan and about 10 games later he thought it he would call it a day, (until tomorrow)

 

My family loves food. This bowl took two of us to put it on the table. I am happy to announce that all the food was great and I never went hungry. 

 There had to be a movie at some point. McCarty and Breanne were the only 2 kids that watched an entry movie.

On Thursday night we have a mini dance why everyone gathered for the talent show. Dad dancing with Abbie. My mom dancing with her bother. They still love each other. Breanne also got to dance with my dad, (really her grandpa)

Then the talent show. Our favorite part. Greg and Preston were great sports and did a skit with us. Here is what we did:

One day the body was having a fight of who was the most important.  The heart (Greg) said "I am the most important because I pump your blood." The lungs (Sierra and Mccarty) said "we're the most important because we take your breath away." The stomach (Preston) said "I am the most important because I digested your food" then at the very bottom the little butt hole (played by Katana voiced by Syringa) said I am the most important. The whole body laughed.  Then the butt hole got so mad and plugged up for 2 whole weeks. At the end of the two weeks the body votes that the butt whole was the most important.

My two cousin (Steven and Carl) sang a song from Little mermaid about all they want is a husband. I am sad I did not get a copy of the song. Everyone was laughing so hard that the song was just a bonus.

The pole dance, hands down the best skit ever. My Aunt Darla and all her girls made up this dance. I was crying I was laughing so hard. We should send it in to funniest home video we would win.

Timbers family all told dog jokes. They were so cute. The kids were so good just standing up there.

On Thursday night they also had karaoke. Timber helped the little girls sing. Sierra, McCarty, Mom and I all sang YMCA it was really fun.

Friday morning started zumba. (we also did  zumba on Thursday) However, I did not get any pictures. My cousin Josie is crazy good. Way more energy than I have. It was funny because all the moms were fine with the arm exercising. Timber even did part of zumba on Thursday with Darlin.

Dad and Greg were kind enough to hold the babies while we did Zumba. I think this was one of Greg's favorite parts. Greg got the rep that he will hold the babies at any time. 

Friday was also swim day. I also almost flashed  everyone on the deck. I went down the slide face first, I did not know but my neck tie had come untied. Preston loved the water slides just as much as the little kids. There were actually two water slides.  One with hot water and with with cold.

My aunt Clareta rented a bounce house. The kids bounced and bounced. 

 We had a potato derby.  We carved a boat out of potato's. Hint how to win; dig as much meat out of the potato has possible. 

 My mom had got all the little girls (not McCarty or Breann) petty skirts, haloheaven baby. I wish I would of got more pictures of them.

 Naps were a must on Friday. Way too much play and sun. Also we had to get ready for the big night.

There was a family quiz, Mom had to leave early. I stepped in. 

 Friday night dance and party. I stayed up with the teens. I went to bed about 1:30 so fun. My cousin Andy and his wife Holly taught us this dace. I was so proud of Greg he even came to the dance for an hour or two. As you can see he was so happy.

Evan let his two older kids stay up late. They are getting so big, it was really fun to play night games with them. 

Even the Jones stayed up with us. We played this game that made you all look like morons. However, we did not care it was just fun. The crazier the better.  

Saturday morning came bright and early. We had to be out of there by 12. We could not eat breakfast until we had our cabin clean. We had to move the beds and everything.  It was bitter sweet I was happy to go home, but I will miss my family. Hugs and kisses all around.

 These two pictures have the best story. Joann and Clareta were talking. I went to take a picture, they both thought I was taking a picture of the other person so the both moved. When they found out I took this picture they wanted to take another one.  

 Thanks to face book and blogs I might not miss my family as much. Good-by for another two years.
