Growing up and Loving It

Denali has really started to be independent. He knows what he wants and is not afraid to tell you. His favorite word is NO and No Way. We are working on YES and PLEASE. When I clean upstairs he will just go in his room and read. It is so hard to get on video because when he sees me he wants me to read to him. I LOVE IT!!  Being outside is a mandatory thing everyday. Unless there is a white out we go outside for both of our sakes. He will stay outside till he is a popsicle. The only way I usually get him to come in is with the promise of Curious George and a treat. He has the best sad face. If you ever tell him "that was not nice or not good" the sad face is out till you tell him he is a good boy but cannot do....he has a very soft hearted. He is just a cute silly boy, everyday he makes me smile. We are so grateful to have him, he makes our life worth living.

Being a Parent is the best job and hardest job anyone can have. There is never a day off and there is NO time off. However, I would not have it any other way. There are days that you want scream but then you look at your sleeping baby and love them even more. I know that last picture is really bad but it is the best story. One day I was painting my toes. Denali came in put his foot next to mine. He then took my hand and pointed to his toes. I got the hint he wanted that done to his toes. I got some black and did his toes. He sat still the whole time. He loved his handsome toes. He wanted to show everyone. Then when I was doing the clear coat he wanted to do it himself. He painted his toes for about 10min. He just wants to do what mom does. He loves to cook, he has had a few little accidents with things being hot so now he knows he has to be very careful. He can pull a chair over to the stove all by himself, and he will get out his own wooden spoon to cook with Mom.
