I AM 28

For my Birthday we went to Idaho to see Mom and Dad. Denali did way good on the way down but it was a long trip back. He actually drove to their house on my Birthday so we celebrated the next day. Mom and I made a cheese cake and put homemade caramel on it YUMMMM! Denali thought it was so fun to blow out the candles. Greg had brought my birthday presents. He got me an small theater popcorn popper, and then all the stuff to go with it. IT IS SO COOL. We ate popcorn all weekend. The first thing in the morning out of Denali's mouth is pop. We drove around and looked at all dads calf's. Denali really liked when the babies would buck and play. Dad took a few day off so Greg helped him with yard work. Leona left a dog at my parents and she had puppies. They were so little. Denali liked them for about 2 min to hold but he loved looking at them. My parents inherited a swing set, it took him a day but Denali learned how to go up all by himself. I love and hate watching my baby get big. The best part of the weekend was just hanging out and watching my parents interact with Mr.  Dad took us out to eat the first night he wanted to show us small town dinning, one person runs the whole show. I left Denali's sweater that my Mom had made for him, we were not able to get it while we were there since they don't have real hours. Mom mailed it to me along with this cute little note, I was so happy I almost cried.

 **One thing Denali learned while we were down there was to say meow to the cat. However now he calls all cats meow meows.
**For my birthday McCarty sent me cards. I did not get them till I got home but it was nice to prolong the birthday feeling. Also my visiting teachers gave me a card with Mint Oreo. It was a shock that they remembered they are my favorite. We talked about it once. The Relief Society sent me a card too. I need to be better about sending cards because they are so simple and nice.
