Parents and the End

On the 26th we left our house bright and early. The kids traveled so good. Really the worst part of the whole trip was from Orem home. Denali started asking about poppa before we left Costco parking lot. Good thing a movie detracted him.
There is no way I could tell you every thing about being at my parents. It was all so fun and just what I needed to get my mind reset. I will try to describe the highlights and the pictures will help. On the 26th we got there about 2, Evan showed up right after us, then Trujillo showed up about 6, Timber did not show till 10. (Sierra and McCarty were already there).  We started to open present as soon as Timber pulled up. Denali was so excited to open the present but about 12 he was out, and there was no waking him up. (did not help he did not take a nap in the car) it was kind of sad because the next morning he wanted to open presents. Everyone got matching PJ so awesome. Both my boys were out before the PJ's were opened. The next morning Denali would not give into peer presser. It took bribing him with everything I could think of to get him in his PJ. Then we ALL stayed in our PJ for 24+ hours. The husbands said they really had to pay attention before they smacked some on the butt. We had some close encounters. My Aunt Tena, Uncle Delwin, Charley and his girlfriend, My Grandparents, Loretta and girls came on the 27th for a few hours. We played two new games, one was call sighs, It was as fun to watch as it was to play. The second game was called Ticket to Ride so fun Sierra and I begged people to play all weekend. Greg lost one game of Zarahema out of about 5 he played. I just did not think it was possible for him to lose. We did bring home the trophy which is now a standing joke in my family.  It was freezing most of the time but the kids still had to get out and play. Denali was so cute as long as he was running around he thought it was really playing with the other kids. Dad had put up his big hunting tent. Any kid 2 and up could stay out there. Denali made it one night and I think that was only because he was asleep when we took him out there. We actually slept in mom and dad's room, since they stayed in the tent with the kids. It was nice having the king bed because all but the one night Denali was in the tent they both ended up in bed with us before 5. There was so much food, that everyone got sick. The older kids got hit the worst because they were old enough to go under the parents radar but not old enough to stop themselves. (not saying the rest of us really stopped ourselves). When we were getting packed up to go Mom, Dad and Sierra had to go move cow. They asked Denali if he wanted to go he said no, but as soon as they left he started to cry. It was nice getting home but it was sad to leave everyone.  There was a few little fight but over all there was no ifs and or butts about it we all had a good time.

*We came home on the 31st so for New Years we opened a bottle of Sparkling Cider. Went to bed at 11:30 read till 12 kissed and shut off the lights.  Over all this has been a great Year being a parent in the hardest best thing we have ever done. We love our boys more than life it self. Life has gotten way more exciting but it has also speed up 100%. Bring on 2015!
