Week One

Since December was kind of a crazy I am not sure where to start so I am just going to do this by weeks. We all got sick the 1st week of December. It was pure survival mode. However there was a lot that we did do.
My goal was to finish T25 by December so that I could take the Holidays off. I finished it on the 1st. Ya me.  We also made Denali new train tracks on the floor. This time with painters tape so it would not hurt the carpet. We did it after he went to bed. He was so excited the next morning.
Sonya got home I went with Gary to pick her up. Her flight was delayed in LA for almost 2 hrs. We spent our time at McDonald. The kids were so excited to be home. (My kids had been sick most of the week along with Greg and I, I dropped the kids off at their house and took my kids to bed)  That Sunday Sonya surprised her parents at Sunday dinner. They had not told anyone (besides Gary and Greg) that they were coming home.  I got most of it on Video (see below), for the benefit of my book I will just describe it. Greg's dad lost it just crying. Greg's mom was in total shock she wanted to cry but held it in for the sake of everyone. Grandma was just happy and said hi. The kids loved doing surprises to friends.
Another part of the crazy sick week I hosted the cousin Christmas party. There were a couple blessing 1. We were just doing a dinner with breakfast food so it was really simple. 2. My Aunt Clee "crashed" the party and did most of the cooking. 3. My family knows how to entertain themselves. I did play one balloon minute to win it game. You had to juggle 3 balloons and the person that did it the longest won. It was a shorter party about 2 hrs which was perfect.
Last  but not lease we finally got our tree decorated. Denali was so good about being careful. He never played with the bulbs once they were on and he would only ask to eat a candy cane if it was not on the tree. He loves having the lights on. Everyone morning that is the first thing he does.
