I have been working on Greg's Birthday and Our anniversary since January. I gave him the pamphlet right before we went to my moms. Next time he needs a heads up or just wait.
Mom took the kids, we had a 3 day 2 night get away. It was wonderful just to get away to be together. We went to a few movies even a late one (that was fun since we have not gone to a late movie in YEARS) ate LOTS of good food and took our time. Shopped - no rushing just looking. (miracle find Thomas the train underwear last package of 2T). We also went to a bird refuge that was really cool.
We stayed at the anniversary inn (I got a killer deal). I liked the first room better but it no AC so Greg was kind of miserable. It was the Egyptian room. The 2nd night we stayed in Sleeping Beauty Castle so pretty. What I did not like is the bed was upstairs why everything else up downstairs. Annoyance for a lazy person!
I love that I am married to my Best Friend even after 9 years. We still have fun just hanging out. Greg is my rock. We came home Friday so we could celebrate Fathers day at home. This family is so lucky to have a strong head of house. He works extremely hard to provide for this family and so I can stay home and raise our children. I am so blessed! There is a strong legasy of amazing Men in our family. I hope that I can raise my boys in a manner that their male ancestors would be proud.
