Brenden graduated! We all went to Logan
see him Graduate. I almost missed the walk in because Denali had to pee (potty
takes presidency over everything). I made it back just as he was walking in the
building. It was LONG and no ice cream after VERY SAD! We went to the park why waiting
for the second part and most of the kids feel asleep. Denali went poop
(highlight). HERO Greg story: Brenden was showing us how stuffed their
trailer was (they are moving day after graduation) Greg picked Denali up, Greg’s
feet slipped out from under him. Greg rolled on his side so Denali would not
get hurt. Greg sliced open his hand.
We were invited to Olin's baby blessing.
Greg even stood in the circle, we were very honored. I made Greg walk to church
(maybe a block). Oh the things he does to keep a happy wife.
Another HERO moment: we went to shopping and
on the way out it was raining really hard. Greg went to get the car. On the way
to the car he saw a couple standing by a girl. He asked if something was wrong
and the grandma responded that the girl could not breathe. Greg grabbed the
girl and hit her back a few times until a toy popped out. Being in the right
spot at the right time is a miracle.
Greg is always my hero. We went on a bike
ride I looked back and saw Greg taking care of both our boys. There are times
Denali wants to dress like daddy (shirt and tie). Going to the park with daddy
is the very best. They never want to leave (smiles tell it all). Colvin wants to
keep up with his brother SOO bad. He is fearless if Denali is doing it he will
to. He hates when Denali can leave him behind. Therefore he started to climb
the stairs. He can go up good we are still working on coming down. Denali is very protective of his brother, he
even bit Drexal because he thought it was hurting "B" (That is what
Denali calls Colvin). Denali took Colvin and I on a 4 wheeler ride. (This
picture was taken 15 sec before tipping over). We go to the park a lot and
swings are our favorite. Denali cannot go high enough, he loves
underdogs. Getting a picture of the boys together is almost impossible.
Mother’s day was wonderful! I LOVE being a
mom and wife! There are hard times but I would not change a thing (Denali is
fully potty trained and Colvin is not screaming as much). Greg took the boys in
the morning an took Colvin all three
hours of church. I made hand and foot print bins for the boy’s room. (I guess I
can be creative at time). My big present was a new bike/jogger stroller and I
love it. I have started to love running (it keeps the darkness away). I got to
run in the rain, so fun. I was soaked but the boys were dry.
I am so grateful for forever families. I
has the opportunity to walk through the Payson Temple twice. Once I went with
my activity day girls. Then we went with Greg's family. The first time was the
best, way less rushed and fewer people. For the Provo's open house we are going
the first 2 weeks and scheduling 2 hours.
On the subject of families. We were going
to have the boy’s party at the park but it rained so we had it at Sonya's.
Timber watched my boys for a whole day. We (Greg, Sonya, Tanan, Mackayla, and
I) cleaned Greg's mom house why she was in the hospital (she is up and down so
hard to see). Timber said Colvin did not cry at all. Denali was only
happy to see me after I told him we were staying at Timber’s (he did not want
to leave the trains). Ended up going to church with her since Greg had to stay
with his dad. Made is till 2nd hour when Colvin had a blowout. Last
family thing; https://www.relativefinder.org/ and https://familysearch.org/campaign/pioneers#/. Very cool family
web sites.
We ended the month with a bang. Colvin got
an ear infection on his birthday. That was #4 in 8 ms. I took him to the ENT.
The Doctor said that even without looking at him he would put tubes in his ears
just because of his history. I was thinking it would be a month or so before we
put tubes in, NOPE 3 days later. (Miracle; I wanted to give Colvin a blessing
before the surgery. We called a neighbor but he was out. Then Markus called and
asked if they could come over. Greg and Markus were able to give Colvin a
blessing). Colvin did awesome in the hospital. The only time he cried was when
they tried to take his blanket away, blankie got to go with him. He was the
best baby for 2 days. I just hope it helps his ears.
ok random; I was leaving a note for Greg
one day and Denali wanted to leave a note for daddy too. Right now it is,
"me too", or "me come too". I also got the kindness note
from a neighbor.
*Greg and I did our first yard sale. I am sad I did not get a picture. We actually did better than I thought we would. It was wonderful to de-junk.
