JULY

July is a fun month to go play in the sun. I took the boys to the reservoir they did really good till it was time to leave. Then Colvin let the whole world know that he was done. Greg and I also decided to try the movies with the boys. Colvin dumped half a tube of popcorn and Denali wanted to run in dark. The movie was cute but we will try again in 3 years. When we got in the car to leave Greg joked that he wanted a beer. Then we asked Denali what he wanted to do the rest of the day. He said I want a beer like dad and cried for about 5 min because we would not give him a beer like dad.

July is also fun because of fireworks. I know that on the 4th the boys would be up late. I gave them melatonin for nap NEVER AGAIN. They cried the whole time bowling. Denali was torn he wanted to bowl but he wanted to play at the arcade. Colvin would not let me put him down. After about 2 hours they were really good. Sonya had brought glow sticks I could not get a good picture but it did look really cool in the dark. The fireworks were fun, Colvin fell asleep right before they started and slept through them. Fun time with family.

We did fireworks for about 4 days. We did fireworks at home. The kids came over and watched. Denali wanted more more even though it was like 11. Since Fat Cats was having their $0.99 summer sale we went again with Sonya. Denali did really good till the 2nd game. Then he was done. Drex and him either Danced or laid down on the lanes. Greg pulled his butt muscle and again I bowled mostly one handed.

 You know I have to put something in about potty training. We have backed down. If he wants a diaper I put one one. The final straw, they say if you let them go naked then they will not go on the floor. No Denali just went to the garage and pooped with Duke then came and told me. He is too smart for his own good.

My kids have started to sometimes play really good with each other. Denali is a really good big brother when he wants to be. We went to a McDonald play place and Denali helped Colvin the whole time. I love watching them do things together. Colvin loves when Denali drives him around. I guess that will be the same in about 14 years.

Family is so much fun I love the summer because we get to see them. McCarty and Brenden came and stayed the night. We went to a park, McCarty makes me laugh so hard, I am glad that she will never really grow all the way up.  Then we went to the drive in with Timber and Ace. Denali loved being in the back of the truck with the kids until the movie started. Colvin just waned to eat rocks. We watched inside out SOOO good. The kids loved it. Timber was like a little kid remembering. I love that she has not grown all the way too.   The end family was I went with the boys to the Nef Family reunion. It was so much fun, I could never put into words all we did. They had a pool, bounce house,water slide bounce, volleyball, corn hole, memory time, pinata and so much more. Colvin was not a fan of anyone. I did not know where Denali was most of the time. Dad and Mom was so much help. Denim slept with me the first night then Denali slept with me. The boys sleep really good because they did not go to bed till 11+. It was so fun just to see a ton of the family. We took a group photo I think this is about half of us. I LOVE MY FAMILY.

Of course I had to put something in about the kittens. They are getting to explore. The kids love them. They are the best entertainment.

I love watching Denali's mind work. He loves to get in boxed or stuff himself under the laundry basket. When daddy comes home is the best part of the day. Every time he talks to Greg is ask if he is coming home. Waiting is so hard. When I go on runs he has started to want to run with me. No shoes and in his t-shirt or pj's so cute best sight ever. Running is good for my boys they have to be close and be nice. That can be changeling but it makes me run faster.

Colvin loves to do anything that Denali does but he always want anything Denali has. Our big new is Colvin started walking. WOW has it made a difference in his attitude. He can play at the park, go outside, and run with Denali. The funny issue we had is his feet are so fat it was hard for us to find shoes that his foot could fit in. I will take that issue. One funny thing is he want to carry is blanket he trips a lot but super cute. I love being a mom most of the time :) :)!!
