Timber and Ace finally went on there weekend, and I had the kids. We had a great time tons of movies and xbox. They were not so happy when I would turn off the TV and made them go outside and play. When you have 6 kids (7 if you count Addie 90% of the time) there is bound to be things happen. Colvin took off his diaper and pooped in his crib. Good thing the kids were just playing and Denali came and got me. Holden would not go to the bathroom for me so we did a lot of laundry. MEMORIES!
For Mothers day Greg made me my present. He framed a poem for with from both boys:
My Mommy’s Embrace
Mommy, when you first held me and looked into my face, From that very moment I learned your sweet embrace. I felt your gentle touch and smelled your fragrant skin. You whispered that my life journey would now begin. Stay near me through the years and watch me grow. Teach me about life and love and all the things you know. Before you realize it, time will pass and I’ll be grown, Teaching what you taught me to children of my own. Embrace me now in your arms and In your thoughts when we’re apart, For I know the special love shared within our hearts.
We went to Greg's mom's and it was really nice to have everyone there. We got to take a lot of pictures. You can really see every ones personality. (Note Sammy and her finger) I love the family I married into. We also went back for Memorial day. Just my family went one day and Colvin was stealing flowers for Grandma. Had to show her "flowers" from the boys. I did not realize how close Glen's grave was. I went and showed Denali who he was named after. Denali thought that was cool. When we were going to Sonya's for Mother's day Denali got excited to get out of the van. He yelled ya Sammy is here I have missed her all day. (He did not even know she was coming so cute)
It was my month to do FHE and it was crazy. We are getting smarter we say 6:45 so by 7:30 every one is on and we can start. Talk and then short sweet lesson.
I love Greg! Pepsi was on sale so I got him a lot. It took up half of my back. The things we do for husbands.
Ok, here are some Mommy stories: Best part and hardest things I have even done. We went to Costco for lunch and Colvin would only eat the pizza off the floor. He would throw it off his plate onto the floor. Then he could get off his seat and eat it. Screamed when I tried to pick it up for him so I just let him eat it.
One Sunday Greg was sick so I was just going to take the boys. However when church started I was in the bath with the boys cleaning up throw up for the 3rd time.
Then I got what Greg got and had no energy for a few day. I went back to sleep after I turned on a movie for the boys. I woke up with them poring chips on my face. We had to vacuum the trail of mashed up chips.
The boys got new "glasses" for swimming. They wore them everywhere, the cutest nerds.
When the boys get hurt I tell them YES you are having so much fun. Some days we have more fun than other days.
The sun finally has come to play. What do we do go play in it. We went to the park, of course we had to swing. They we realized the water was on at the splash pad. The boys loved trying to "drinking" the water. Colvin was really brave. Denali was big enough to avoid most of the water.
When they play so hard of course they need naps.
Love Almost every minute of being a mom.
Sierra and my parents came down to go to the Lehi fun center. Denali, Katana and Ax did not want to go home. They just knew they were so big.
Dad Cleaned my whole basement then Ace and Timber came to hang out. Ace and Dad moved a lotof stuff downstairs and to the basement.
I also had to paint my bathroom and my purple wall. It is crazy how depersonalizing it made my house feel.
We finally put our house on the market. Really we just put it on KSL and put a sign out fount. They sent us a blue print with no windows so we are in no hurry to really sale. We had the sign in the yard by our yard sale but it was cold and rainy so did not really help that much.
Denali had his 4 year check up. I did not know that he was going to have shots but he was so brave. I held his hand and he held his blanket. They also had a new machine that checked the kids eyes. They also checked Colvin since he was just in. They both have 20/20.
Denali's status: Weight 36.6 58% Height 42" 81%
He loves playing with his cousin and brother!
I finally cut dukes hair for the summer. The best part was the cats did not know him. They would hiss at him. Train was brave and started smelling him. It took sweets all night to get brave and find out who this "New" dog was.
The boys both got to be in the summer reading program for the library. Colvin is happy to get to do anything with Denali. Denali loves to mark off when he reads book. They are really going to love it when they get their prizes.
At the end of May we finally had Bubby and Sids birthday. I cannot believe how old everyone is getting. Makes me feel old!
Stories: I had to get a knee brace and I am so Vain. I hate it but it does help
* Denali made popcorn all on his own. Scared me to death. He just asked me to get the popcorn out of the microwave since it was hot.
* We went to the dentist. It was like Christmas for Denali he could not wait. Colvin hates any doctors and did not do so well.
*We got our first blue print for our home and they omitted most of the window. Will have to wait for a new one.
*The lord cares about 4 year olds, Greg had a work dinner and Denali was kind of scared to stay at Tana's. While Colvin took a bath (something that never happen alone) Denali watched Daniel Tiger (Never done on his own before) He watched Grown up come back. He sang that all day. Tana's house was fun for him We did not get home till very late.
*I am living a huge blessing. I cannot run and I am ok. I am handing day to day living.
* Our birds nest came out on it own out of the dryer vent. We said a thank you pray and put a cover on the drier vent.
*We went to 7 peaks. Denali likes to swim in the lazy river. I will get them on slides.
