We finally started moving in. Huge blessing for all, it keep us super busy. My goal was to take 5 loads from the storage unit to the house everyday. I know how to stuff our van. One great thing I did, was put all the toys down stairs and made a play room with the carpet remnants. However they still had to bring up and build trains. Other cool thing I am doing is not putting dressers in the room. I brought night stands from SL to fit in the boys closet. Makes their room feel bigger.
At church they were talking about talents. How we each have them but sometime they are talents we don't see. Here are my families talents.
Greg: people person he can talk and relate to anyone
Denali: Loves to give people presents. Usually his own stuff.
Colvin: He can figure anything out. If he see it done once we can figure it out and do it.
Me: Stop the darkness, My talent is being mentally strong.
I had a girls night (Was home before curfew) We went to LA LA land. Glad I did not go with Greg. The ending was BAD!!
We got blinds instilled in the house. That statement that came to mind is this SHHHHH is getting real.
The sun decided to tease us with summer. I shaved my legs and was "Girly" Amazing how great that feels.
Sierra and Preston came down for a weekend. We were not in our house so crazy does not even start to describe it but it was the perfects family fix I needed. Some highlights: The snow has been melting my yard was a mud pit. Colvin and Axel thought it was great fun. Colvin was pouring mud on his head and Axel was swimming in the mud. No washer and no shower curtain up wow!!. We took the kids to 7 peaks fun center. Much needed break. Sierra and I went to a huge yard sale. The first hr was fun I gave Sierra 2.30 min before I was going to leave her. Preston put in lights for us (really the main two reason they came was to bring a dresser and put in lights down stairs.) They fit the dresser in there van. Talk about tetras. Since we had the help we wanted to finish putting the house together. That entailed doors (the worst part of this whole house). Preston was ready to kill me because each door was specific for each door frame and I had not labeled them. Miracles happen every day. Sierra and I worked on the door for over an hour and had one door working. Preston and Greg worked on doors for a few hours nothing was working. Sierra and I took all the kids prayed and with in the hour they had half the doors hung and with in 2 hours all doors were hung.
I am NOT a bunny farmer. "B" was loved to death. I think he had something internal wrong with him. I was sad but still had Carmal. I put her out side and the next day she vanished. I lost it. I had wanted bunnies for so long and then have them gone so fast! There is a lesson to be learned I just have to learn it.
Since the weather is getting warmer we have been to the fun center a few times. We have to get our money right. Drex and Tink are on my account. Drex is great at the rock all. Colvin had to be pushed on the frogger. I thought he was going to pass out the first time. I was laughing so hard (best part of being a mom payback) Denali just loves it all (not the rock he hates heights) Colvin got over his fear and did the frogger for an hour.
We Moved out!! We had tons of help from Greg's brothers. Did not take us as long as we thought it would. The boys are just so happy to have their own thing. One thing we had to establish fast was rules of the train track. They wanted to go "catch" the train. Yes my heart stopped for a beat when I saw how close to the tracks they got. They do love watching the trains.
A lot happen at the end of month. Here is a brief overhaul: I finally cleaned out my Van (I told my self that is how I would know I was truly moved in.) Sonya went to NY, we had the kids for 2 days (very long story and some hurt feelings) We celebrated Tinks birthday with donuts. I was able to clean out the basement so we are officially moved out. We had T watch the 3 boys for what we thought would be 30min 2 hr later we made it home. She did a great job. We moved to T-Mobil and got new phone. I love my huge phone.
Mom, Dad, Katana and Axle came for their spring brake. Denali and Colvin wanted to know were the cute baby Mace was. Again we went to the fun center and nothing was working. Mom and dad took the kids home. Greg and I went to Beauty and the Beast SOO GOOD!
Since we were finally in our own home I had a play date. Julie, Danielle,Amanda and Drex came. It was great to have family and friends again.
Stories:When Sierra and Preston came we went to our ward building but the 9:00. The bishop told us that our ward would be splitting into theirs. YA 9.*My new heath rule is, one Dr. Pepper a week. During this whole move my pop consumption has gone up exponentially
*I registered Denali for Kindergarten next yr. I got teary eye, I am going to be a mess next year.
*When Drex turned 5 he said that he could now be a good listener. I hope that is with all 5 yrs.
*Our first real Sunday in our ward we got all ready and was going to be on time to church. When we got there there was no one. Went in and it was stake conference. Came home waited an hr and went back to church. WOW! Our first real Sunday was crazy with the ward split.
*Greg had his annual work dinner.
* We set Denali's clock up and told him he could not get up will 7 that worked till Saturday. We told him he could get up and play on his kindle as long as he did not wake up mom and dad. What time did he get up 5 that is NOT a good wake up time.
*I broke my washer when we moved in, I did not know you had to clean a washer out to store it. Took about 2 weeks but finally got it fixed. YA!
