Nothing brings out my cleaning bug like nice weather. I decided to clean carpets. Nothing shows you how gross your house really is. Most of my water was mostly mud. I guess that is what I get for having kids and pets.

My kids have wanted to get out a lot. The fun center is our favorite place. The arcades are still free huge bonus. Also, the boys discover something new almost every time. We have to try laser tag every time. We have discovered 2 things; one it is really no fun with just us 4 Or 3, and Colvin last about 10min. Denali's new favorite thing is mini golf. He is getting better all the time. Colvin just likes to chase his ball like a dog. As long as we are all having fun it does not matter how. They both tried the rock wall (since mom has to try it every time) Denali was doing excellent until he looked down, he was don. Colvin just liked to use it as a swing, again whatever! The dollar movie always has a kid friendly movie. The week they change (to a new movie) it is a mad house. We did go and see Coco. It was way better than I thought it would be. The kids just like the popcorn.

We have to use our movie passes! I went to Forever My Girl with Amanda. We ended up going out to dinner too. Greg hates Indian food and he made himself mac and cheese (he forgot to tell his taste bust he is not 10 anymore) Therefore we both had a great night. The movie was a total chic flick.

Sleeping is improving.  The boys still sleep in our room but we are training them to come and just sleep on the floor. That works really well till about 6. Our door does not shut tight so when the cats get to playing they can knock open our door. Then they think it is ok to come and wake/play with whoever is on the floor. (IT IS NOT OK).

Denali is my gamer he loves any game and he loves to learn new games. The crazy thing is he is really good at games. He gets strategy. The new game we started to play with him was Risk. We modified it at first but then ended up playing a fast real (mostly real) game. He did amazing well for a 5-yr. old.

I made a trip with the boys to see Timber. (we had to stop at the cheese factory up and back).  There were a few reasons but the main reason was I wanted to see Blazen, Abe and Nathan play basketball. Those boys were out to win. (they are an undefeated team) Nothing was going to stop them. It was fun to watch the littles run around. We went to the park earlier that day to play with all the cousin before the game. Ace got his kids a little four-by-four. My kids LOVED IT. We went to the Amy’s to say by. Abe really wanted someone to ride a sheep. Denali got on but I could not hold him and take pictures. You can imagen that he was on for about 5sec and was less than thrilled when it was over. (you can also guess were my priorities were, take pictures) Colvin was having NONE of it. It was funny to watch the mighty sheep herders.

Good and bad news for Greg and I. NCIS finally came on Netflix. We have a LOT of catching up to do. We have no clue how to watch just one at night.

Valentine’s day; this was a like another Halloween only it latest for about 3 days. First our neighborhood had a valentine exchange. Everyone that wanted to participate made boxes for their kids then left them on their door steps. My kids loved it. At the end we had left over candy, they left candy on random door steps. That was just the beginning of candy. Then they both had school parties. Greg had to work on Valentines so he wrote both of them cute letters. I got them balloons. Mom sent cards. They were scratch and sniff, Denali thought it was the coolest thing ever. Greg got me the sound track to the Greatest Showman. I had to wait a week for the sound track but I could download it on amazon. It is now on non-stop.

I had finally found the Detox that I wanted to do. It was a 10-day smoothie. (I know that we would only do it for about 5 days but I thought this was something we could do) I went shopping and then we started on a cold Saturday. Some tips; start on a day you have plans. That way you are doing something not just sitting around. Start when you feel good, no fun detoxing sick.  Ya we lasted 48 hours. I got a really bad cold that put me on my butt. Greg was over joyed that it was not him. The boys loved it, there were 24 hours that I let them watch all the TV they wanted. For the next week they asked if I could be sick again. I felt the love.

Once I started feeling better I wanted to look good. The boys love playing in nail polish. It is crazy how good it makes you feel to look good. (even if it only lasts a little while) The boys have been great with their chore chart. They love getting the stickers but I am SOOO bad with the follow through. (giving them the money and making them be accountable for what they want). This is still a work in progress. Another work in progress is having the boys be nice to each other. I pulled a mom and made them sit and sing I want to be kind. Colvin thought it was great that his brother had to hold his hand. Denali thought it was the worst thing EVER! My mom was so smart!!

I have to put in a plug for birthdays. It was Denim’s 12th birthday. I made her a birthday collage. When did she get so big? I am so glad she is as pretty on the inside as she is on the outside.

I got to do a first as a mom. I finally got to go on a field trip with Denali. We went to the Bean museum. It was really cool, it is an animal museum. We did not get to stay long because there was a huge snow storm.

Our lesson at church had to do with getting to know your current prophet. It worked out so wonderful that I did it for FHE (we have not been doing so great, with Greg working Mondays we forget). Pres. Nelson talking about reading the Books of Mormon last conference. There was also a list of 10 things you might not know about Pres. Nelson, I knew 2 of them. I cut my boys hair. I did a military cut and it is so cute. Practice makes perfect, I am just glad they are young enough that they don't care when I mess up too bad. I am getting better at Greg’s hair. (I think.)  Colvin has not taken a nap for about a year now, however this last month he has really needed one. I think if he did not know Denali was up he would sleep more. Oh Well!

I am totally living my dream!!

Stories: Greg has been really good to Video call the boys. The boys love it. The best part is he can sing to them at night. It is the highlight of the day.

*My kids love Mexican food. Any time we ask what they want to eat they say Mexican. They can out eat me. Greg loves it. 

*It was Rhonda's Angle day. We had a big family party, I love that we keep happy memories going. 

*The boys finally showed their dad how they could drive. We went on a Sunday to the high school.  

*It has been snowing a lot, we will have a few inches in the morning but by the afternoon it is gone. It finally stayed long enough to make a snow man with the boys. It was really small but they thought it was the best!

*We had to cut out Denali's wart again. Greg came with me this time. It took both of us to hold him down. It was heart wrenching. Let’s just hope we got it this time.
