March

*Disclaimer somehow I lost all my pictures from my phone for March. SAD FACE!  I hope you still get the feel for our month with fewer pictures.
We started out the month by going to Idaho. This was my birthday trip. Denali wanted a movie night with popcorn.  Always fun with cousins. I was FINALLY able to make slime. We discovered my problem. My contact solution did not have borax in it. I was over joyed it was not me.  Mace broke his leg and the cast is so cute and sad . It is NO fun for him he just wants lots of snuggles.
There is no good way to put in bad news. Sierra invited Mom and I to go to her ultrasound. I was really honored. The tech was really fast and did not talk to us at all. The doctor came in later and said they needed to do more testing. There was an abnormality on the ultrasound. She scheduled another appoint a week later. When they went into that appointment the baby had lost her heart beat. They did find out it was a girl. It was heart braking for us all. Denali said that Sierra's baby could find Duke and play with him and that His grandma would take care of the baby. The faith of little kids. A person's a person no matter how small. You never stop loving.
On to happier things. For our Idaho trip we had the best book on Tape. It was also a book club book so two birds.   It was Alcatraz VS. the Evil Librarian.
My boys make me laugh every day. Denali told me ,"Mom Aunt Timber is the best but I love you so I will stay with you" Thank you I am glad I got your love. I took the boys swimming. Colvin decided to jump in the lazy river with no floaties. Blessing; I was really close to grab him and the life guard jumped in. He came up with a smile. I could not breath. The life guard asked if I was ok. We had a talk about waiting on the steps for Mom.
Greg just knows I lost my mind this month. I took the boys to Cal Ranch to look at baby chickens and came home with 3. Greg was LESS than happy. The boys were over joyed. They loved their chickens. Colvin had to learn how to be nice to them. The boys took them on walks, played tag with them and over all LOVED them. Greg had to tolerate them for his kids sake. There were in the kids room for a a few day, then we kicked them out to the garage. I made the coolest red neck chicken coop.
We have been trying to make memories with the kids. We took them Ice Skating. The first 30min was h3$$ then we rented walkers for the boys. WAY more fun. Colvin was crazy he took off like a bullet by himself. Denali liked going fast but he wanted us to push him. 1.5 hours was more than enough. What a work out, but so fun.
March is the Month Greg and I got engaged. The funny thing is March 17th is also Drexal's birthday. We meet up at Nickel Mania. It was an instant hit for Denali. Guess were we are going for Denali's birthday?
McCarty and Mom took a Spring Brake trip. On the way back I took McCarty to the Greatest Showman. (I even drive the extra 10min to Orem)  I am so spoiled with how close I live to everything. She loved it. Mom watched the kids, I had put my boys to bed but Grandma let them have a very late movie night with her.
We have to use our Movie Passes! For $5 Tuesday we took the boys to Peter Rabbit. It was cute, the kids just like going to the big movies.
EASTER! We almost got as much candy for Easter as we did for Halloween.  We had a neighborhood egg hunt. There were a TON of eggs. Then we went to the VA home were there was a crazy amount of candy. There was so much candy Colvin did not know were to start. Drexal and Denali had to stop filling up their bags and start filling up Colvin's. Then Tana had the family egg hunt. We celebrated Easter a week early since Greg had to work on Easter Sunday. The kids liked the little toys from us better than the candy, probably because they had candy over load.  Lets talk eggs for a min; we did a new things. We put food coloring in shaving cream then rolled the eggs in the shaving cream. Did not work great. Would of worked better with WAY more food coloring but then would of been more of a mess. I think we are just going to stay with kits.
BIG NEWS after 12+yrs of wanting to go to the color festival we made it. It was just as fun as I thought it would be. Greg even had a good time and he did not want to go. I was kind of worried about the boys but they loved it. Two hours was more than enough time for them but FUN FUN! I have already told all my family next year we are all going. The chalk just washed off most everything so the clean up was not even bad. I could not say enough great things about this, just look at my face.
At school they have a Rhyme day. Every kids has to memories a rhyme and then dress up like that rhyme. We memorizes BA BA Black Sheep, did Denali want to be a sheep. Nope he wanted to be a "lane"  I love his creative mind. Then also had an egg drop from the roof of his school. His egg did crack but that could of been from the 5 times  he dropped it off our deck. Who knows??
At Tana's Eater Party the boys were playing on the tramp, the tramp at her house has fiberglass. Poor Colvin's hand were covered in band its trying to get the fiberglass out of them.
My Husband loves me; long story short, he had to go from AF to SF about 3 times in one night to take me to the movies. He took us all to the Greatest Showman sing-along. Colvin was out but Denali stayed a wake. We asked him why since it was midnight. He said that the songs were just too singy he had to sing.
We have been really trying to play with our kids more. We know they are growing up to fast. I just chant to myself everyday, "you are a good mom" it really works. What you think, you are!
Story: Hyrum got really sick, like did not know if they would keep him sick. We are so glad that we got to keep him. He was on oxygen for a few weeks.
*Greg had to get a new phone. I just wast to point it out that it was not me this time. My phone my be cracked but it still works. (Greg's phone had a known issue)
*I got 3 fruit trees, I got 2 apples, a peach and a nectarine. They were cheep at Costco, I hope they grow.
*We had an adult dinner Greg was gone 90% of the time, but he got to spend one on one time with his dad.
* I helped Sonya clean her kitchen. She is really getting packed up to move.
* Book Club, I have to put in a plug for those ladies. I have not heard them say anything bad about anyone.  They are not a group to gossip and that says a lot about their virtue.
