April

The first thing we did in April was go to Idaho for the week. It happen to be Spring Brake. The boys and I needed a Brake. We listened to conference on the way down. The big new: there is no more home or visiting teaching. It is now “Ministering.”

Our first stop was the Kelly's. For Easter the kids got kites, we all got to fly one. My boys were so excited because we have not been able to use theirs. We left the next morning after Katana got on the buss. It brought back a lot of memories yelling and running for the bus. Next was McCarty's. The first day we just hung out. The 2^nd day was our action day, I went to the temple. I had Two things on my mind; baby and Greg's school. (feeling: The baby was just chill, but Greg's school was it is going to be different. That really bothered me but after really pondering I got: school is not my inspiration to get for our family it is Greg's as much as I hate that I have to follow my husband in faith.) I got to see were Brenden processes the milk. Went to the DI to get a frame for Sierra. I got each of the kids a dollar toy. I got Bayler a truck, I am the favorite. I also let him watch Bob The Builder in the bath. We had a Hot Dog roast then I helped McCarty with Activity days.

After Carts we headed to Moms. We stopped in at the school just to say hi. We really surprised her it was fun. Her thought was, Oh people are coming hey I know them Hey It is Syringa and the Boys. That night at school she had a pizza night. We went to eat and support the school: wink you know what one really. OK Story; The next day mom had to work a half day. We were outside playing and she was asking the boys about scriptures store; who is...they did not remember any of the stories. Then I asked can you name all the Paw Patrol and Thomas Train. Yep!! Priorities.

We went and found dad, he was wrapping up so we went on a 4-wheeler ride. We could not go fast enough for the boys. Denali was yelling, "best day ever"!

McCarty and Sierra came the next day. McCarty was about an hour in head of Sierra. She had brought 3 Ponies that Sierra had purchased. At lunch we were just doing the catch up fun talk, mom started crying. She said that the chatter is what her and Dad missed the most. We loaded up all the kids to watch dad at a branding. It was fun just to see all the cousin together. Then we went to Bours swimming. Hot tubing is so relaxing!

McCarty left the next morning (Colvin got to sleep with McCarty he thought that was really cool) The Greatest Showman was on the dollar show. Sierra, Katana, Mom, Denali and I went. I don't think Katana blinked the whole time.

Sierra left the next morning with me about an hour behind. I gave her the counter cross stitch for her baby. She cried I kind of wish I had it on video. We went to church with Sierra before heading home. Katana got taken out. Colvin asked were Nanan going, "I said she was bad and her daddy had to take her out, with a very sad face; poor Nanan."

The day after we got home we took the boys to the Jorden River open house. We went on a Monday afternoon and there was maybe 10 other people in the whole temple. It was awesome. We got to take our time. We talked about all the paintings. The kids loved it. We just had a fun family day. We took the kids to a Buffet the best part for them was the chocolate fountain. Then we went to the park were Greg's work has its BBQ. The boys remember it and called it Daddy's work park. I soaked up some Vitim D.

I have been really trying to do new things with the kids. They wanted a picnic. When we got to the park the Spanish Fork Wind was blowing so bad we had to eat in the back of the Van. It was perfect made any more memories.Boys can be best friends one min. fighting the next and best friends the next. Sometimes I get sweet pictures to remind me the fight does stop for moments.  Colvin has taken more naps in the last few weeks than he did for the last year. Run till you drop.

With Sonya moving she asked if I wanted her canning jars. She had taken all her moms. Wow did she have a ton. It took up the whole back of my van with no seats. Greg spend the whole day helping me sort out jars. Love him working the 4 10's I am sure it is not what he had in mind.  The swap for the jars was I had to can her 80lbs of chicken. Since I could not go anywhere I finally started on my Jean quilt. It it only 2 yrs late.

Happy news for our back yard. It is coming slowly but that is OK. We got our sprinklers. With all the dirt they pulled up a ton of BIG rocks. We made a good rock pile. We also got our cubing in. Wow does it look nice. Greg's friend was fast. The last thing we got was top soil. The kid have to stay out of the back.

We lost froggie Greg and I were happy with only one cat. However, every morning there was a fight and tears about Colvin not having a cat of his own. (Denali loved to antagonize his brother) The final straw was Saturday morning Colvin telling his daddy,"me no have a cat, me miss my cat" Timber was at Sierra's, Sierra had kitten so the timing was perfect if you look at it from Colvin's view. We named the cat Diamond Katana.

It is starting to warm up, we all anticipate summer. The boys wanted their pool up. Since it was only in the mid 60's I put about 10gallons of hot water in. They loved the water and the hot.

I love doing my nails but polish stays on my nails for less than 24hr (I am not a careful girl) I had seen doing your nails with sharpie online. They were really fun and it stayed on for about 48hrs. The main con anything that does not get chipped off is really hard to take off.

I have been really wanting to go to Ceadar and do my hair. I wanted something really funky. It was a good excuse to go see Timbers. The layers are really cute but not funky. Guess I am going for fun business class.

Why we were at Timbers we went swimming with the Amy's. It was fun to have my boys hang out with other cousins. Through all my travels there is one thing that stays consistent. I stay up way to late and talk,but that is why I go on vacation not to relax but to rejuvenate my sole.

 

Stories:

*Why at Sierra's I tuned on a book on tape for the boys to go to bed. They loved it. I discovered that YouTube has tons of books to listen too. I still love book on tape I am glad I can share that love.

*After Greg takes a GMAT test he reviews the question. One day he asked if I wanted to review with him. I think I would of loved taking the GMAT.

*Good mommy moment. I have been trying to exercise in the morning. I ran one morning then jumped in the shower. I had turned on Clifford for Colvin. When I got dressed I sat down and watched Clifford with him. I will miss those moments.

*Sad after happy. We woke up to snow the day after Denali's Birthday. This is a crazy spring.

*We had a cousin party at Julie's, Amber had came down. I love my family

*I got a crown put on my tooth. During the crown was not so bad the after math has NOT been fun. I just hope with not being able to eat I lose some weight. Silver lining.

*We went to the Springville Res. and now you have to pay to park. Guess we will find other things to do this summer.

*Crazy news: I am starting my own business. I am going to be a bra lady. In a nut shell finally found the website. Was given a ladies name from Logan. Talked to her for a long time. Then at church trying to figure out what to do they announce that the self-reliance business class is starting. WOW talk about being hit over the head with a bat. I did come up with a name: Unique for U. We will talk more about it later.
