Azalyn Maureen Proctor "cupcake"

Lets start with Family; My Grandma Nef had 8 kids she was started with each one. I wish I could talk to her now about delivery and what we have in common.
Her is Azalyn's Birth story: Greg and I went into the hospital about 6:30 on the 16th and was put in the best room about 7, they got me started on antibiotics (I tested positive for Strep B). I had to have two rounds of antibiotics about 3 hrs apart before they could brake my water.
I had wonderful support. First my nursers were wonderful. Jessica was the main nurse but then she had a student with her, the students first day and first live birth, Sage. Greg was my rock, Mom was the help and Dad was the calm and stayed with me the whole time, even during my shakes.   Help at home; Timber came down to be with the boys, she was late because of roads, mom and dad dropped the boys off at a neighbors.
With the antibiotics they put iodine on my skin, the smell made me sick. Then they had to poke me 3 times for my epidural, they made my right leg zing (Hurt like $$$$) Her pre-delivery was ruff.
They broke my water at 10 Azalyn Maureen Proctor was born at 12:56pm on Jan 16th, She was 7lbs 10oz and 20inch long. The Boys could not wait to see and hold her. We were all in LOVE the intend we saw her.  The first night she had a hard time keeping her body temp up so she had to be under warming lights. Dad bought her a pink BUY hat, she wore it a lot (blessing in high sight; the 2nd day was just lots of visitors and down time waiting to be released. I knew I had to work on getting my breast pump. It took almost 2 hrs to get it all worked out. Greg said why are you so worried I could not answer that but I knew I needed it ASAP)
We got home about 7 on the 17th the boys and grandma were happy to have us home. (Azalyn came home in the same pink hat I did.) We were still struggling on the right side nursing but for my kids that is normal.
Then HELL broke out: on the 18th we took her to the doctor and her bilirubin was really high so she had to go on lights. Later on the 19th she stopped doing anything. Almost 100% unresponsive Greg and I took her to the Dr and they put her right into the hospital.  They would only let one of us stay,  Greg left about 10:30. Hardest night of my life both physical and mental. First seeing your baby on lights and not being able to hold them puts a knife in your heart, then with Greg gone I had to do it all on my own. They needed me to feed her every 3 hrs. she is slow so that took about 45min. Then they made me pump; 1. to keep her under the lights and 2. so they could make sure she was getting enough.  That took about 45min, then I had a baby 48hrs ago was still on pain med and down south needed taken care of. That took about 15min. Then bed for about 45min and at it again. When Greg came and took over I lost it in the car with mom and then came home and sleep for 3+hrs. By the time I got back to the hospital she was off light just waiting for test results. The boys got to come see her on lights, we called her our little Owlette. My mom was a rock star I was so glad I could just focus on Azalyn and not worry about the boys, knowing my mom was taking care of the house. We got home about 11 on the 20th.
There were happy time, she smiled at Greg in her sleep and did a little giggling in her sleep.
Since, getting her home from the hospital , the 2nd time, I have just pumped. They want me to pump till she gets back up to birth weight (might pump for awhile HAHA)
However, the happy was not to last: she went back on light the 21st. Everyone just took turn sitting by her. Even Denali;he would play on his kindle by her "so she can watch too"
(remember the blessing of the pump it came on the 21st the day I got home and had to pump)
She was on light for 3 more days. Greg gave her a blessing the feeling for him was, "she will be ok but this is going to suck" and it did for a week. By the time she was a week old she had been to a dr or in the hospital every day.  At nights we had to wake her up to eat (when she turn 2 weeks old we let her sleep 5 hrs at night) At 2 week she was 7lbs 9oz 29% Height: 21.75 in 98% Head: 14.5in 91%
When she was 2 weeks old we took her to a specialist, she was born with a bent foot. They just want to make sure her hip is ok. So far so good.  I really got to doll her up.
She came in like wrecking ball but we all are over the moon with her!!
