Life just keeps marching on. Timber totally got me for April Fools. She said she was back in the hospital. Denali was in the car with me, and Timber went up another step (if that is even possible), in his book for playing an April Fools joke.
Soccer: It was a fun season, but we celebrated the season or it being over with Cold Stone. I had to take Az one time to Colvin’s game and as I was watching she wondered off. I found her halfway across the park. She told me Doggie, (she was headed for the dog park across the road). At one of Denali’s game Az found a friend to follow. She would high five me and go play again.
Easter: We had a great Easter weekend. We went to Tanan’s for the family dinner. Just us again representing the Proctors. My boys had so much fun, they were old enough to play with the big kids. The Easter bunny he did not bring candy he brought money and squirt guns and soccer stuff. The kids loved going to Wal-Mart and picking out their own toys. Denali got a Nerf gun (can never have too many) Colvin got a PJ mask toy (He loves just opening the packaging) Azalyn got a stick horse (a stuffed horse would have been better she wants to sleep with it.) I got to read in the sun the best part of the day.
Conference: We still did our candy thing; the kids were so excited to listen. It was all about having faith. We can do hard things, and this is not the only hard thing we will have to do, Talking about the pandemic.
Daddy Moment: One night Greg got up with Az and rocked her back to sleep. I sleep through the whole thing. I guess I only know if kids are in the bed with me.
Just fun: We hooked the dog up to the red truck. There was a little power in the battier, snuggles took off. I had to hold the truck and the dog back. Work out for all. I am sick of buying tramp pads that do not work or fall apart super-fast. I put pool noodles around the tramp. Easy just very time consuming. I hope it works for this summer. Colvin got "man" lotion from Grandma (she had them open their presents why we were there so she could watch) Grandma told him that the man lotion would make girls kiss him. He wore it to school the first day back. Then after school he told me it was broken, why you asked, no girls kissed him. Then I kissed him 10 times and "fixed" it. I was able to go to my cousin’s baby shower. It was so fun and up lifting to hang out with family. While at the baby shower Greg took all the kids out to eat. He is a rock star of a dad. We made it back to lagoon. I got super sick on the teacups. Last time for mom. I took Colvin on an upside-down ride. He was yelling NOT OK! I was finally able to sleep on the tramp with the boys. I got to sleep in till 8:30! The boys both earned new belts. Both boys will be in the same summer class then they will both move up a class when school starts this fall. I had the through in some fun school papers.
Fall Brake: We had a fire with the Lees the kids played so well. My goal was to relax as a mom and have fun. I took the kids swimming. Az loves the water, and the boys are big enough they can watch her for 5 min so I can go down a slide with each boy. We went to a new park (it was the park that Colvin plays soccer out, but we never get to play) Az wanted to do everything the boys did. Scared me to death but you have to let them grow. I did an outside movie night with the kids. (Greg had class but got to watch about 1/2 with us.) We ended in Idaho. The boys got to go with Dad for about 3 hrs. and loved it. Dad let them have Mountain Dew, so they talked his ear off the whole day. We were able to go hot tubbing. We went and watched Sierras kids play soccer, and her coach. The kids just love being with cousins. (The wind was blowing 100 MPH I guess that is soccer for you). We were able to do our last home church with mom and dad. I as so going to miss that. Colvin learned a new trick on the way home, how to pee in a bottle. Azalyn did not have a good drive home and had just fallen asleep when he needed to go. Desperate times.
Note: I was able to sale my chickens. FAST! Then we find out that a few neighbors have chickens. See no one would ever know. I was “mom” pressured into trying underwear on Azalyn. After 2 hours and about 6 pairs of panties NOPE! No presser. Az is a girl through and through, she loves playing in my makeup. She has the most doting brother to "help" her and be her mannequin. Colvin knew what and were eye shadow went. I want her to know that makeup is fun, but she does not need it. The Lord cares about even the little things. Azalyn lost her lip gloss we prayed, and she went out and found it. It was a testimony to me. I have been weeding the yard every morning. I have the best weed puller. My back loves it. who need a truck when you have a van? I put half a quart of wood and 4 pallets in mine. It can hold 7 pallets with no wood. I had to make a pool deck, next year I need a 5x5 or even a 5x6. This year we have a 4x4. The end of April was working on getting the pool up.
NEWS: Ralayna won her pageant. (took me all day to find out). This fall she gets to run for Teen Miss Idaho. I got my IUD out. Still going to be a few months but here is the start of the end.
I found a quote I love: No one on their death bed wishes they did more laundry.
