2022- Really! The New saying
in our house: if you touch it put it AWAY! (don't just set it down and say later
put it away) Crazy how much that helps but it is going to kill everyone in the
house. I love teaching my kids new things. I tough the boys to iron. They get a
$1 per article of clothing. Denali said it was the hardest $9’s he has ever
made.
We have actually got enough snow to play in. The boys had a fun time making their own sledding hill in our back yard. Azalyn just likes playing IN the snow. We took the kids for one last sledding run, as the snow was melting. Slush is no fun to sled in.
I prevented it as long as I could, but Azalyn discovered how to get in and out of her crib. Big bed once we move. I have been telling Azalyn that when it is her birthday, she gets to wear underwear. Mom Even got her Coco melon panties. For about 2 weeks nothing maybe once. Then one day she decided that she wanted to go on the potty, and it was all over. I did do a poop dance the first time she went. More exciting than Christmas. Then at night she started to tell me a story: Mom bear, Dad bear, me bear. Dad goes poop ya dad, mom goes poop ya mom, me poop ya me. Praise for pooing actually makes you feel really good.
Let’s talk Church. We have 1:30 church. That is the worst worst time to have church. It is ok sometimes we have to test our faith and if we lack, we move.
I realized that I don't spend very much one on one time with the boys. Since this is the first year, they are both in school full time. Therefore, my new plan was to do my shopping when the boys got home. They each get to take a turn with me. They love it. I have to carve out more time for individual time. On one aaron I had to take Denali to Ultra. He said mom they are way too many girls. I need out.
Doctors and Dentist. I hate the dentist my kids think it is like visiting Santa. I had a crown that HURT. On top of that I got a sinus infection. Go me! Denali has had a growth on his leg. We have been to the doctor twice. Denali has had to learn to be brave. One night he popped it in the bath, it looked like green pus. GROSS.
I want to get better at doing my nails. I have been researching nail wraps. You definitely get what you pay for. I put some on Azalyn she was not a fan, but they were cute.
Colvin gave a talk in Primary. Denali helped him. Azalyn wanted to come watch and waved HI to him the whole time. LOVE!
My Earthly father provides for me physical by working
My Heavenly Father provides for me spirally by giving me the scriptures
My earthly father has rules to keep me save
My heavenly father has commandments to keep me save
My earthly father makes me clean to help my family
My Heavenly father asked me to sever to help his other children
Both my heavenly father and my earthly father LOVE me
I love to give my earthly father big hugs
I look forward to the day I can give my heavenly father a big hug.

Moving: I have been cleaning out as much as I can. I think 3 times is the charm to really throw away everything you need to. We now have the basement and the kids’ room I was say done. I was able to order my 2021 blog book. Azalyn has loved reading it. That was my goal before we moved. Greg and I took a trip to Arizona. His worked paid for 90% of its, blessing! I had to take Greg to the Airport at 4:30 am I got home about 6:45 am and the boys were awake. They said they woke up at 5:32 AM and turned on the British baking show. I flew out a day later. It was the first time I flew on my own. I Am a big girl now! We accomplished everything we wanted. We found the areas we really like and the areas we don't like as much. We found some "planned communities" we LOVE. The lord knows best, and we will put our faith in him. We did a lot of driving and had a fun time together. We were able to have dinner with my cousin. Mom and Dad watched the kids for us. MEMORIES for all. The kids were incredibly happy to have us home. Mom and Dad were happy to be here but happy to go home.
Mom Brain: My brain hates Thursdays. I cannot remember that after Wednesday there is another day before Friday. I killed my self all day Wednesday to get ready for the realtor on Friday. I cried at the dinner table when Greg let me know I had another day. With the realtors I learned a valuable lesson. Keep it in the lord’s hand because what you think may not be right. We loved the first one but the 2nd one just fit us better.
My boys are so creative. They really wanted to use my cutter and laminator. They both made up their own game. Denali's was a spin on the Vegas Dice game. I made him do all the computer editing. Colvin wanted a card version of paper, rock, scissors game. The boys did their last karate class. They got to bring chips. It is really a bittersweet for all. They are happy to have more time at home, but they are going to miss karate.
Last thought: Enjoy the calm when we have it, it is not going to last long.
