We went to New Mexico for Thanks
Giving. As I was packing I discovered that none of the kids had coats. We had
to run to Costco the night before. Yes, we stopped at Maverik and were very grateful
for our coats. Timbers was nice but cold.
I helped Timber cook for 2
days. She had so much food, which is the best part of Thanks Giving all the
food. It was the first year that we have done Thanks Giving with no
"Mom" help. We did a fabulous job.
Darlin let Azalyn play in and
then gave her some makeup to take home. Yes, Darlin is wonderful. We all look fabulous
and sparkly.
We had a girls night and
watched Austenland. Denim loved it and called it from the beginning.
Timber let my kids ride horses.
The boys rode for hours. I was able to go on a ride with each of them. Denali
started trotting and yelled, “I think I am breaking the speed limit.” Azalyn
even got to ride Legs on her own. He did not want to walk, Azalyn kept asking
to go faster or yelling mom the horse stopped again.
The boys picked a number to see
who GOT to sleep on the floor. The last night they both got to because Azalyn
was not feeling great, so I slept with her.
We had a great time. We are so
thankful for Timber and her family. For opening up her home to us and making my
kids feel so special.
