Brenden and McCarty

Brenden and McCarty got Married in the Logan Temple February 24th, for time and ALL eternity.

 Greg and I got to Logan about 7 on the 23rd. We picked up my Aunt Alberta from the airport. When we got to Logan it was time to go to the church and setup. Leona Hatch did all of McCarty's flowers and she did a wonderful job. We had lot of help which was a good thing because there was a lot to do. Denim stayed with us the whole time and helped setup. I think she was regretting it by the time it was done because she was SO tired.

This is Brenden's little brother that had just left on a mission. They had this life size cut out. It was funny but some it was a little creepy to look over and see it.

 

 McCarty looked so happy coming out the temple. She actually kind of got to do it twice because they wanted the parents to follow her and Brenden out. I think it made for some really fun pictures. Also they had to kiss a few times, because everyone wanted to get a picture. I don't think they really minded.

I think that it was so good for all the little kids to get to see how happy McCarty is. I want to be there when each one of them gets to walk out of the temple doors.

 It was kind of cold at the temple and poor little Katana was not feeling so red hot. Big days are really hard on such little babies. Even though she did not feel good she did a really good job.

Can you feel the love tonight? I love my family and I am so glad that we are not afraid to show it. There are those times that you really feel the closest with your family. One really cool thing was when we were in the temple dad stopped me and said that Denali was going to have curly hair like me, I hope he is right.

 

I know that my mom was having a hard time all day but she did such a good job of not letting on. Getting my mom laughing on camera is so had, she hates taking pictures.

 Here are just some fun family pictures. More of my Dad's family came then I thought they would. It was the first time that I got to be in the temple with my Uncle Guy and Aunt Juanita, that was very awesome. Also my Grandpa made it in the first set of doors going into the temple. It was very cold and that is were the waiting room was.  

After the temple was the luncheon and  receptions. One thing they did that was kind of cool during the luncheon was had everyone say something about Brenden or McCarty. It was kind of hard since we are so happy for them but at the same time it is our little sister. It was also super sweet because Brenden sang and played a song on the guitar for Cart, AHHH so romantic.

The receptions was really fun. My Mom had a ton of food and a chocolate fountain. The little boys loved that but I don't think that their white shirts like it as much. They ate and ate. We also took all the little kids out side and decorated Brenden's truck. We put balloons in side.  Then we saran-raped his doors shut, put shaving cream on the windows, sandwich cookies all over and lip stick wording all over. The little kids stayed out for a long time but then it got really cold. McCarty also did one of the coolest thing for a daddy daughter dance. She had my brother Trujillo take out all of Sisters, starting with Timber to my Dad. My Dad danced with all of us then our husbands came and got us. Then McCarty danced with my dad for the longest then Brenden came out and took her. We were all crying by the end of it.

 McCarty put her garner belt high because Brenden said that he wanted to have to get under her dress. It was really funny for the rest of us but I don't think my mom thought it was that funny. My mom thought that it was almost over the edge. She did want to think of McCarty as her little girl.
When it was time to leave we all lined up and they run though the tunnels of arms. It took them a few minutes to get into the pickup because of everything we had done to it.

It was a long night for the kids. Darlin loves to Dance. She played and danced her way into a sleep coma. Tons of people showed up. It was fun to talk to them. Only I danced too much and Denali was letting mom know it. I was sore for the next two days.

 This is Janet Koyle, she was the one that got Brenden and McCarty setup. My mom was mad at her for a long time. I think she is finally letting her anger go.
