My Baby is growing up to slow

No parents ever says my baby is growing up too slow. I know there are morning when he looks bigger than the night before. I love and hate him growing. This is how Greg puts it, "It is sad to see our baby go but it is so fun to see his little personality come out." I add some times his personality is not little. Here are just a few fun moments of being a mom.

Denali loves food, and he has a sweet tooth just like his mom. I don't mind the mess because a messy face it so cute, and it makes him so happy.  He now knows that after I use the beaters he gets something yummy. It makes me happy to see him with the beaters because it reminds me of when I was a kid. I gave him cheetos for the fist time and boy were they good. He cried when I put the bag up. The cheese was his night snack, I cut him off a piece but that was not good enough. He had to have the whole brick.

 

 

 

 I love watching Denali find and do things that are fun for him. No pictures of him on the stairs, but he is getting really fast at going up them. He still has not learned the going down. He loves his bath. He can now roll over and swim in the bath. This summer we are going to take a mommy and me swim class, I know he is going to love it. Taking walks but not in the stroller. The first time in the wagon he was laughing and playing until he fell out. His dog is his favorite. I don't know how long is too long for him on the dog, mom always quits first. However, if we take the big loop around somerset (about a quarter mile) he does not cry when we go in. He has discovered that being in the shopping cart is way more fun, and I think way more cute. We just discovered swings, they are fun and make him tired. Swing for 5 min get in the car come home and nap. A win win! He still only army crawls but his is really fast and loves to climb. In and out is better than around.

 

 When I was in college my roommates and I would put our mattress on the stairs and slid down. When I had to change Denali bedding I thought I would show him the fun things in life and he loved it. It took up all of our morning. 

I love doing Denali's hair. Greg said that I better have a girl next. Being a mom is the best adventurer everyday. I would not change a thing.
