7 Years B-day Fathers Day

Our anniversary (7 years this year) Fathers day and Greg's Birthday (31) are all with in days of each other. Actually this year Fathers day and Greg's Birthday was on the same day. Greg took a couple days off and we have a wonderful stay-cation. We planned more than we did since by day 5 we were all wiped out.
The first thing we did was the Zoo. It was so fun just to go with our little family. We took our time and went slow. We were only there for about 3 hours but we saw everything. Denali thought that the monkeys and things behind the glass was the best. ( I think it is because we did not make him stay in the stroller when there was things he could stand and walk with.) Greg and I thought the elephant show was the best. The baby could stand on his head.
The next thing we did was hike. It was between Stewart Falls or Timp cave. The falls won. The hike there was really not that bad. Greg was wonderful and carried Denali the whole time (both ways). Denali did really good he loved looking around. It is the only hike I have ever been on that coming back was WAY harder than going. We went the long way out of American Fork canyon coming home. What a pretty drive. About a mile from our Exit there was a big wreck. We were stopped on the freeway for about 45 mins. Denali was asleep but when he woke up I was just taking my time getting him out of his car seat and getting snacks and a diaper for him. This car next to us rolled down their window and asked if I needed anything for the baby. I thought it was so nice of them to offer.
Denali did get his first sunburn. Lucky for him he tans really well, red hair and all.
We just took it easy on fathers day. We went to Greg's parents for a steak dinner. Then we went to Sonya's to have s'mores and a camp out. Only the two oldest kids slept outside with us. This was our test run for when we are at my family reunions. I am proud to report that it was VERY well. Denali was the last one to wake up.
The past 7 years I can honestly say have been the fastest 7 year of my life. I guess the saying is true time fly's when you are having fun.  Greg is my best friend and my biggest support. I am so grateful that we both have great examples of what marriages should be like. I am so blessed that I will have my family for every. I never really have to say Good-by!
I am so blessed to have such wonderful men in my life. I am so grateful that my father taught me what I wanted in a husband and how to be a wonderful father. I am grateful everyday that I have found the most perfect father and husband in Greg. I love to watch Denali get so excited when Greg comes home. Thank you Greg for understanding how important it is that I stay home and work so hard so I can. I LOVE YOU!!!
