Zoo

Every year we try to go to the zoo. We ended up getting a year pass, so we will be going a lot. We took it easy. It was the perfect day, it was cloudier in the morning and then it warmed up. Some high lights of the day; Denali loved when the animals would come close. The Gorillas were his favorite, we were there for about 10 min. They kept walking pasted the window. Greg and Denali went to the bird show, I had to feed Colvin and got done just as the show started. Greg said that a bird came right by Denali's head, was scared at first but then wanted a bird on his arm the rest of the day.  They have this little splash pad in the zoo, it was a fun way to end the day. I went down the slide once with Denali, (was not designed for an adult) Denali went down a on his own, but then there were way too many kids to fight. He waited with other kids for the water volcano but did not like when it exploded. I was the mean mom and was just laughing. Greg rescued him but not until he snapped a few funny pictures.

*Before we left I was downstairs gathering supplies. I step on a chair and it broke under me. Greg came down to see if I was ok, when he discovered what I did (stepped on a chair that had a fix me sticker on it), he was not happy or simplistic at all.  He kind of hurt my feelings. He told me sorry after, but when a guy is mad at you it is only because he cares about you and was scared.
