Halloween Week

We started Halloween early. On the 18th Denali was up at 5 and did not go back to bed. At 6 when Colvin woke up I just got up. Then we went to the pumpkin patch with Greg's family. Since Sonya is in Hong Kong it was really just Tana, Grandma and us. Gary showed up at the end but are boys early morning was catching up to them. Older cousin rock!

Then on the 24th Greg's work had a huge Halloween party. Of course the boys took a long nap so we got there just as everyone with kids was getting there. Next year I will know we just have to come early. Tons of games and TONS of candy. Denali was so cute because he would Roar at everyone. He loved the spook ally Greg was a proud daddy since that his main project. 

SIDE STORIES: We went to Chuck-ramma for dinner. Never go to a buffet with 2 kids and one cannot walk. I was so tired after we ate I could of slept on the floor. However I did give Colvin his first fry and loved it. Gummed that thing to death. On the way home Greg took the kids. I totally got off the wrong exit and was so last for about 30sec. Took the long way home. Greg thought I had lost my mind and in truth I had. Ok back to Halloween

27th we carved pumpkins. Denali painted his and loved it. He was not happy when I tried to put it out side. I carved I think the coolest pumpkin ever. The boys fist initial and hands. The hand took me forever. We also forgot to put a candle in it so it was not as need on Halloween. 

29th We went to a fee spook ally with some friends. It lasted about 3min and we had to wait in line in the cold for about an hour, something fun to say we did. Denali loved it. During the wait I lost Denali. A mom found him saying mom and started walking around with him. Greg heard him and went and got him. I was scared for about 2min. Greg had to tease me a little. 

Then the big day  Halloween the 31st. The boys were so cute. My tiger and my pea in the pod. It took Denali about 2 houses to figure out what was going on. He learned quickly that if he roared he got more candy. His bucket got so full we had to dump it in the bottom of the stroller. (I did not realize how much candy he got till the next morning when I was cleaning it out) He trick or treated for about 2 hours. He would be so tired and say home. We would get started home and he would see other light on and say knock. When we finally made it home and in was inside for about 10 min before he wanted to go out again. Over all he got a BAG FULL of candy we are going to be eating candy for months. SIDE NOTE there were a lot of house that ran out of candy, I kept saying to myself newbies.

Greg took a long weekend for the holiday. He was awesome and helped me paint our master bathroom. It took us 2 days (mostly late nights) lots of Dinosaur train, 2 coats of paint but it looks magnificent.
