December

We started December out right with, Mace McKy Kelly Wednesday December 2, 2015 @ 6:57 PM 8 lbs 10 oz 21 1/2 inches

We had to go back to the dentist. Denali was not as prepared this time. They had to hold him down. That is so hard to watch as a parent.  

We actually went to our ward party this year. We are trying to be more social. They did a service party. We wrote letters to the missionaries and then gave Santa a present. Denali loved Santa and he asked for the same 2 things all month. A train and playdoh. Colvin took a few times to warm up to Santa. 

We went to a North Pole at 7 peaks with our pass of all passes. You could tell it was the first year. There were 2 good things. The lights and the slide (it went really fast but it was a long wait.) 

When it is cold out mom gets creative. An old air mattes is the best inside tramp for. I even have fun on it.  They boys also got creative, they put flowers head bands on and were superheroes. Greg said we have to find a new superhero band. Denali played in lip gloss and make himself so pretty. The bathtub is always a fun place to play. Don’t forget about train tracks. Denali is getting really good. When the weather is even half way good we go outside to burn off energy. 

We went sledding a few times this year. Denali loved it. Colvin was done after 2 runs.  They love me pulling them in the sled. Great exercise! They both love sledding inside, I did not let them go down the stairs. They can figure that out on their own.

We to SL on the train to see the Christmas light with Timber and her family. We almost missed the train. Greg took off running to buy our tickets and I took off running with the kids to the train. Timber said we were a sight. We went to the roof at the conference center to see the lights. Way neat, Greg had never been on the roof. Then we went to eat and it went downhill from there. It took 2 hrs to get food from MD. There were 100's of kids at the play place. We had to wait for almost 45min for the train home. I think half of Utah County had the same plans as us. The train was packed. However, Colvin found a Girlfriend and was mad when we left her and took him away. She was a college student, so she has to wait a few year ;) He has good taste. We told her after how unusually that was for him.  I took pictures so that our families would believe me. Turned out perfect because we went to a part a few days later and they wrote on my cup, “the only one Colvin loves"

We got to see Santa a few times this year. Once at the library, we just happen to be there the night of a bells concert. It was really cool for Greg and I but our boys were done after about 15 min.  Santa called from Greg's work. Denali thought it was soo cool to talk to Santa. He just keep asking for the same two things again. 

Mom and Dad come down right before Christmas (they made a Christmas run). To make Dad have a good time I keep him busy. He cleaned my dishwasher, put up my box from Ikea, Moved my table, and sweep and moped about 4 times. The dishwasher was so gross I just had to take pictures, but boy does it work better. I paid mom off YA!!! Greg installed my new sink after Dad left.

I have to talk about sleep. The new things; Denali can come in our bed but then I take him back to his bed and if he cries he has to take a nap. I am not so sure what I like more; him taking a nap or having my own bed.  

Being a mom is a Dream come True. I love my boys more than words could every say!!!

 

 STORIES:

*I was talking to Denali about getting married and I asked him how old he was going to be. He said that he was going to be 10 but Colvin was only going to be 9. (10 is the biggest number he knows.) He told me that is brain was tired and could not think of any more numbers. 

*We took Timber and her kids to Costco. They were like kids (including Timber) in a candy story. They (Timber too) had to see everything. Had to have samples multiple times. Then we ate lunch. It was fun for the first hr. I never thought we were going to be able to leave.  

*Greg has a interview for a Portland branch. The job went back and forth all month. The end was, he was offered the job but turned it down. 

*I was laying on the couch and Denali come and said his feet were wet. I asked him why. He said that he had peed on his feet. I went into the bathroom and YES there was a puddle of water. I just smiled and told him that was cool but lets not do that again. He was ok with that. BOYS!

*Colvin handle half of nursery before he has a melt down. Some is better than non baby steps. 

*We were at Tana's house (she has trains) Denali come up stairs in a fit. Once I got him calmed down he said he did not want to eat cake he wanted to play trains. Yes he was sad we said cake come up and eat. No I did not make him eat cake. 

* Greg and I went to Star Wars. It was a good movie Greg had a lot more to say. Amanda watched the boys and said they were really good. 

*I went back to Canned Goats Milk and Colvin is doing sooo much better.
