March

I have a miracle phone. It fell in the sink full of water, took 48 hours but it started working again. The funny thing is, it started to work the day we went to the open house with Greg's family.
Denali has started "cooking" on his own. Colvin is all too happy to help or just be entertained. The final straw of Denali cooking, was rice and sugar all over my floors. I had to kick them outside to clean it up. Faster Showers from now on!
We got rid of bubbles, and keep 2 kittens. The boys loved the kittens. We named then Train (Deanli wanted Choo Chooo) and Sweets (she could not be named better) Colvin cannot get enough of his kitten. It took a little longer to get rid of all the kitten this time, (was not lack of interest people keep changing their minds).
Denali finally eared his trip on the train. He had to sleep in his own bed all nigh for 5 nights, Not in a row just 5 total. It took him about a month but he did it. We went all over Salt Lake on the train. We went to the Airport and the nice driver let Denali push the horn. He thought that was the coolest thing ever. He said he wanted to be a train driver when he grows up. I totally saw a drug deal go down on the train, It was so open it made me laugh. Now on to our next goal of 10 night to spend the night at Aunt Timbers.
When my kids see the sun shining they think it is time to go outside and play. The sad thing is in Utah that does not mean it is warm. As soon as the snow melted Denali begged me to ride his red truck. I thought I was so smart to tie Colvin's van behind it. Two issues 1. Colvin could not keeps his legs up so I was scared he was going to brake his leg. 2.The Van keep tipping over. We had to go to the park. Denali is the best big brother. Colvin idolizes him, what ever Denali does Colvin has to do. Denali was running around the park and Colvin was attempting to keep up, Denali would stop open his arms and Colvin would run into them. My Heart was full.
Talking about idolization they got a hold of my camera had to take pictures. Most of the pictures were of their feet or floor but 1 in  50 was a face.  Denali walked on the banister so Colvin had to too.
BIG NEW: McCarty had her baby.  March 10th, John Baler (we will just call him Baler) 7lbs 15oz 20 inches long. I am not waiting till June to go see him but I don't know when I will find time. McCarty ended up having a C section. Only Brenden got to go in Mom was not happy.
I love and hate every big milestone Denali hits. When Greg came home Denali asked to play X-box. (I don't know how he thought of playing a game with Greg on x-box) They played a fighting game and win or lose Denali thought it was great fun. Greg cannot wait till they can all play.
Greg's work does some cool thing. They gave every employer free Jazz Tickets. Since they were free we decided to take the boys. Denali loved it but it did get a little long. (I brought the kindles for the boys to play with after half time) Colvin did not enjoy all the noise. When I put Denali to bed, sound a sleep he said De-fence, go jazz. Greg was so proud. He said we have to brain wash them young.
I was invited to go Dress shopping this Taysia, it was nice because I got to be there when she picked the one. We went to dinner after, took way to long but we had to Indore her BFFs. Taysia got all the brains of that group.
We went and visited Greg's Grandma in her new "home" she is not loving it. However, the other old ladies just ate my kids up. They could not keep their eyes off of them. They even liked all of Colvin's personality. They were so sad when we had to go. I need to take them more.
Kids do a lot of things to your body. One thing, it makes your teeth really soft. I had to have 6 YES 6 cavities filled. It was horrible. I asked Denali right before if I would be brave or if I would cry, he said I would cry. The worst part was my teeth hurt to eat for about a week after. Had to have the re-grinned down.
I took my first outside run of 2016 so proud. However, I learned that there is not a incline of less then 3 in all of Spanish Fork. My calf's hated me all day. No more 0 incline for me on the treadmill.
EASTER; We finally painted Easter eggs this year. I got a kit that was paint not a dye, not sure how much I liked it but the boys loved it. We painted eggs and sang to mom for her birthday. The kids painted the eggs the table and themselves. Colvin did not want to stop. He was mad when he ran out of paint. The Saturday before Easter we went to Tana's for the egg hunt. It was the first big family event without his mom. We all did ok but it was hard. The boys loved the egg hunt. Denali just wanted to get as many eggs as he could and he got a ton. Colvin liked getting eggs till he dropped one and discovered CANDY he was done with the hunt after that. Over all it was great time
Denali is the best big brother. He want to help Colvin when ever he can. Colvin was in time out screaming. Denali went over and said Colvin let me help. He took his hand and help Colvin. He will read to Colvin when ever he bring him a book. They are best friends and love playing together. I love hearing them laugh and be silly together. Friends for life .
A fast story for each: Denali said that he needed to go to Grandma house so she could cut his hair. It makes me so sad to cut his hair.
Colvin has started to throw food on the floor to the animals.
Denali and Colvin loves to run with no pantsThe rule is they have to keep underwear or a diaper on. Sometimes that is hard.
Being a Mom continues to be the best and hardest thing I have ever done. Living the Dream!

STORIES: I bough 40 lbs of chicken to can. It took 3 times of defrosting, and 3 different part stores before I finally got it done. I guess sometimes you have to work for blessing.
*It is so hard to see a love one go through something that you know is hard and there is nothing you can do. Greg has been in a major funk since his mom died. I can only love him. I now know a little (very very little) of how Heavenly Father must feel. Watching and not being able to do anything about it.
*The boys broke a bottle of nail polish, as I was cleaning up they knocked over acetone on the table. I screamed and scared the poop out of the boys.  Then I went and got me a Dr. Pepper and put it in a glass. Denali asked what I was drinking, I told him it was special mommy juice to keep me nice and from not yelling. He said oh ok, can I see it, When I showed him he said," what the heck mom that is just pop."
*We have been using our pass of all passes (you are going to get sick of hearing about our passes) we took the boys to the dollar movie they loved it. All the popcorn they could eat.
*We have been house hunting. We are going to build were we want to build and not were family wants us to build.
* We went to hang time with Timber. The boys would not let Timber out of their sight, they had a person to watch them and they needed that. They wanted to leave after an hour. It was a fight to get them to stay. Too much for kids is TOO much.
*Evan and Joann came and spend the night. Actually Brody and some friends stayed the night. Denali loved being with “the big boys” they were really good to him. I told Brody what goes around comes around.
*When it rains it pours. I watched Brittany’s kids for a day. Drexal came and played too. It was good for most of day because everyone had someone to play with. However, the little boys did not get naps so at the end of the day it was kind of a fight.
*Timber discovered  the Provo rec center. I think we will be seeing a lot more of her this summer. With 7 peaks and the Provo rec she may just move to Spanish.
*When I get super over welled, if I will just stop and sever someone outside my family I will feel better.
*Last Tana watched my boys so we could put money down on a house.
