October

Sonya and Sid wanted to do 31 days of Scary movies. Greg is loving that he can watch scary movies again. I have spent a lot of time coloring and watching movies of my own choice. Really we all have had fun.
Denali did the cutest school project. He made a dinosaur with his face, they captured his personality perfectly. He is loving school, and it has been a life saver for all of us.
Our trip this month was to Sierra's. I went down there for a purpose. We made apple sauce, I started Apple Cider vinegar. Mom gave us stuff to make relish. We also made ourselves sick on peaches and nuts. The kids played, fought and played. The funny thing was Axel and Colvin got along better than Katana and Denali. At night we got to play games too. Sierra gave Preston Zarhamla, Brook came over one night to play. I love to hang out with family. The weather was still really nice we played outside a lot. My kids loved riding fuzz ball. Denali learned how to get on fuzz ball all on his own. One time Fuzz kind of bucked and Denali fell off. He did not want to get back on but Preston made him. I was proud of Denali for doing it, crying or not. Colvin did not want to go fast so Denali would hold his hand and walk beside him. At the end Colvin could even ride on his own. We did some fun thing too. Sierra took me to zumba, it was fun but I remembered why I stopped going. My kids will not let me dance for more than 5 min. Sierra had us walk the Twin Falls bride. People base jump off the bridge all the time (we got to watch a couple base jumpers) so there is very little railing. I about had a heat attack. Sierra said Mom was worse than me; I felt good about that. I totally lost my voice Sierra had to yell at my kids for me. The only reason I slept at nighttime was because of Zarbees. I gave Sierra my lose your voice cold. She was not so happy at me.
We went to Mom's for the weekend. She is having major issues with her eyes. She cannot bend over or move her head fast. She tries to hide it. I just pray that it gets better for her. We left Mom's really late so all the kids fell asleep. I got Sierra talking it was a rare miracle. OK funny story; Denali wanted to watch YouTube in the car. I had to explain that the van does not have Wifi. Over the course of the 4 hr drive I bet we talked about it for an hour. He said that it was a hard life that he could not have Wifi in the van.  I feel like I all ways come home to craziness.  There was a big wreck on the freeway so we got to Lehi way later than we planned. We went to the Lehi Fun center for awhile to wait for Greg. (the Lehi rec center had a Halloween theme really just a fall theme thing.) they had bounce houses and the roller coaster was working. We had to take Greg back a few nights later and stay a lot longer.
When I got back we took Colvin to the Dr. for his ears. He had a build up but not an infection. Blessing of his talking he told me his ear was hurting.
I love fall time, I went to Jacker's a few times. I need to do as much as I can while the weather still permits. Greg also came with us a few times. I met family and friends on the same day once. That was good crazy fun, being split in two directions. The boys loved playing with Ivy. We also got pumpkins. The boys liked the idea of carving pumpkins, they did not like getting their hands dirty.
My family was in town because I had a cousin get married in the Provo City Center Temple. I ended up staying out with the kids. I am glad I was just able to help. Timber came down that night for the reception. Then came to Sonya's with me (Ace and the older kids went to a BYU foot ball game.) It was so nice talking to her, but could not put Holden and Darlen to bed so hard.
Greg bought Sonya and I concert tickets. Sid and Autumn tagged along.  We went to Justin Moore, Colt Ford and Brantley Gilmore.  We had so much fun!!!
Of course I had put something in about the house. They did not dig it out enough so we are getting a BIG deck. They are really slow so Greg is going to start Micro Managing. I hope that speeds things up.
Oh how I love my boys; Colvin had a state speech therapist come with Kim and his new words were poop and pee. Yep he had big brothers. Denali and Drex's new favorite thing is to skype. However they sit next to each other and skype. They will get it some day. The boys were running with no shirts one day, I asked them if they wanted to get dressed they said, "NO we need to show off our super hero bodies."  We are tying to sock up every last ray of sunshine.
I cut off my hair. I really like it, Greg thinks it is a little short but he loves it. I just needed a big change.  Sorry I did not do a before Pic.
Months ago we planned a Proctor Family trip to St. George. It ended up just being Sonya, Tana and our family. We had a fun time. Sonya and us followed each other up. We stopped at Cove Fort. Greg and Sid were taking the tour. Sid got cold and Greg put his arm around her. I had been out with the boys. When I came in he turned and kissed me. The tour guide stopped mid sentence and asked if we were pligs. Sid was grossed out, Greg was embarrassed and I started laughing. We went to Zions. I was the one that suggested it but was not prepared at all. I totally forgot to bring a backpack or a stroller. Greg and I carried kids ALL day.  We still had a good time, I love bringing first timers to Zions.  We did not stay in the same Hotel as the others so it was nice having just our family time. Denali loved the swimming pool. I took him swimming during nap time, it was fun having one on one time. Greg and I walked to McDonald's every night. A fun fast date night. Sonya's Hotel had the best breakfast I have ever had. We went there every morning.  Good times but good to be home.
It is fun to get out and just be a family. We need the small moments in life to look back on, memories. My kids love to go to the duck pond and feed the ducks. I finally caught one, it freaked the boys out.
When Greg and I were first married I saw 2 brothers as Lego's. I have been biding my time 10 years this was the year. It all worked out because Denali and Colvin thought it was a great idea. Thank you google. They were actually harder to make than I originally thought. They only got completed because Greg was willing to help a lot. I cut my finger really bad one night cutting circles and was pulled off the cutting part. I did do all the painting. It was hard for the boys to walk and sit but they got so much attention they were ok with the hard part. Greg took Denali to school with me, of course Colvin had to go in to. The teacher had to take a pictures and the teachers just gushed over them. We went to Greg's work party with all the kids. It was fun and everyone got a tons of candy. We went trick or treating with Sonya. We hit the end of a trunk or treat and got TONS of candy. Everyone wanted to leave. Two hours of trick or treating was enough for my kids. They could not even hold their treat buckets they were so full.
We ended with a bang. We went to Ivy Prince and Princess birthday part. I was creative and made the boys prince outfits. Again think you google! I made the capes out of tee shirts, I painted their BK crowns and painted there swords. They turned out so cute. Her neighbor did pony cartage rides, it was a big hit with all the kids. So fun to be with friends.
We also went to a fundraiser for McKayla, it was a Disney singing concert. The boys loved it but Denali did not make it till the end.
Let the Holidays begin.
STORY: *For conference Greg's family would always go to Heber and get ice cream. Sonya and Greg decided to recreate memories. We googled it to make sure it was still open and headed up to Heber. When we got there it was closed for the season. We still made memories.
*Denali had his first primary program. We were never told about it so Denali did not practice at all, but he still got up and did his part. Greg and I were so proud of him.
*I fasted for a reason why...we need to be example and there is a reason we just need to wait. Some we will know and some we will not. Have FAITH!
