I had to have a dramatic change. The cut was not enough, I colored it very bright red/pink. It was even more than what I thought but a BIG change. I did not tell any of my family about my hair. Wow did they get a shock. Dad said, "dam" then "Oh hell what did you do" Mom did not even know what to say, but Sunday when Bonnie said I like it mom told her no she did not it was awful. Roberts said nice hair and dad told him not to lie. Preston called me pink! I actually loved all the reactions.
Mom was voluntold that she was going to host the "Amy" girl party. It was very important to Dad that all his girls go. Charlotte could not go, Ralayna had a very big singing competition. Greg was not happy that I went because I did not really want to go. It ended up being fun! I meet Timber at Costco (she went down the day before) Denim said that if she ever did something like that to her hair her dad would kill her. We would be at her funeral and not at Costco. Dad took my boys and they had a blast with grandpa. He even had to change a poopie diaper of Colvin's. He also roped Timber, Sierra and McCarty into moving cows for about 3 hours. I had to switch McCarty the last hour. Bayler would not take the bottle. Colvin loved following the cows for about 45min.
We did pedicures and played this really cool hand game. We blind folder the girls and had to find their mom, McCarty was the only one that picked mom. Then we blind folded the moms and they had to pick their daughters. Mom only picked one. We made homemade vanilla with Vodka. The best part was red neck hot tubing. We all had to go off the rope swing. There was some healing. We can be family but we don't have to be best friends. That is ok there are many different kinds of love.
After the girl party I took McCarty home and stayed with her for a few days. It was so fun just to talk to her. My kids loved playing with Bayler. It was kind of hard when Brenden got home but he does not get home till late so blessing. A few highlights; we went to a hot spring, really just a little pool in the rocks. The first thing Colvin did was step in the deepest part. Scared me to death. McCarty made us a lot of really good food. She even let us have a few meals on her new table. (We were not even aloud to breath on it) The best thing she made us was Mexican Hot Chocolate. A shot of melted chocolate really.

When I got home we had 3 days of good (calm before the storm) We took full advantage of it and went to the park. Denali and Drex are big enough to do everything. Colvin tried but Greg just had him climb with him. Then the snow, the boys wanted to go play in it. I thought they would be out there for 10 min, no 30 min later I made them come in. They had so much fun "sledding".
To keep my sanity, I am trying some crazy things (and we got a really good deal) I did permanent eye liner. It was not as painful as I thought it would be, but IT HURT like a mother. The rest of the day I was not help. I just could not open my eyes. (since I am typing this at the end of month I have to say so far I love it) The best part I got it done for $50!!!YA
The boys had dentist appointments. For Denali that is like telling him he get to go to Santa house. We had Colvin so excited, but right before we left he fell down the stairs. You can imagine how the appointment went after that. Denali on the other hand sat in his car seat for about 30 min before we left. Neither had any cavities so they got ice cream cones. They asked me to eat their ice cream, it is a hard job but someone has to do it.
Our ward hosted a Thanksgiving Feast all non school kids. It was so fun, I was able to pick Denali up from School early. They had tons of games and crafts for the kids to do. Than every mom brought something. I made a drink that was easy and really good. Raspberry sherbet and 7up!! I love when things work out.
I started to clean the play room about a month ago and finally finished. The day I finished I worked on it all day, but the kids LOVE having a place to run without people yelling at them. Then Sonya bought a BIG air plane toy and put it in the toy room. The kids love it, they fight a lot about who gets to drive. I am now in the will for the air plane HA! HA!
I finally got around to cutting the boys hair (the whole time at moms everyone had something to say about it) They just grow up so much when I cut it. Drex asked me to cut his hair, I told him his mom would put me in time out forever, he told me that was ok because she loved me. I did not touch his hair. I still need a place to live.
I went to Fantastic Beasts with Amanda 2 days before she had her baby. It was a good movie and I needed out.
Of course I have to put something in about the house; they did not dig it out enough so now we are getting a big deck. Not my ideal but I will learn to love it. We are getting two more arch ways, one in the bathroom and one in the toilet room. I think they are going to look wonderful.

Denali has wanted a new stuffed animal. I told him he had earn it. He worked soo hard. It took him 3 days but he earned $3. He picked a dragon, he loves it so much more because he had to earn it. I also made him pay tithing on what he earned. Our Bishop did the coolest thing when Denali went and gave him his money all $0.30. He started talking to Denali at his height and told him that this will help build a temple. Denali was so proud of himself. I loved that he learned 2 lessons.
Late nights and no naps makes you questions your life chooses. However you then have the good moments. One day after church Colvin got hurt. He laid down on his dad and fell asleep. The best part of being a parent is just holding them and seeing their smiling face.

*The family finally got Gary moved in the VA home. The first few days were not great but every day it gets better.
*I took 3 boys Christmas shopping. It would of been ok if I had one or two people to shop for, but we had 6! Not ok, next year I shop throughout the year or go by myself and let them pick from what I get.
*We went to see the house one night and Denali said mom we are going to have to stay at Sonya's forever, I asked Why he said because our house is too cold. Yep no heat in it yet.
*On a fluke I went back Friday shopping. Everything in the store was $1 (tags) I was going to go shopping for 15min I left 45min later. Then I took the boys swimming with Julie. It was so night just getting out with my boys.
*We had tithing settlement, our Bishop said that if our marriage can last building a house we are rock solid. There are times we are not sure if it is going to last.
