2nd Half PARTY

Greg got to Idaho late afternoon on the 23rd. The boys could not get enough of him. McCarty and Brenden come very late on the 24th. McCarty and Brenden said that the road into Grandview was worst then the canyon.  We (Hatfield and Proctor) tried to act out the Christmas story but my boys had no clue what they were doing, epic fail. The best part was I wrapped them up in white blankets any they were the sheep. They loved that!!

On the 24th I took the boys with Dad (tons of snow) Denali said, “Grandpa this looks like sledding weather.” We did not end up going sledding.

Christmas morning we were not up that early, around 7. Denali did not want to wait for anyone he just wanted to rip everything open. He did get his pink blanket (grocery story Maceys of all places) Main presents; Greg; a trivia game for the Big Bang Theory. (McCarty thought we were kind of pathetic that we were so good) I got a Necklace that says, "I love you to the moon and back" (That is what I tell my boys every night. I have not and will not take it off.) Denali (other than his blanket) he got a racing car box. Colvin; baby doll and a stroller. (He loves pushing and putting his baby to sleep.) Both boys got chapstick it the little things. Denali got grandpa Sorry, I got them candy land and hungry, hungry hippos. We just played games and ATE TONS of food. It was a great rest day.  

Christmas was on a Sunday, the ward did a Christmas program where different people read parts of the Christmas story then sang songs. Dad had two parts and did a great job. I know that all the girls on the bench had prayers in their hearts. 

Sierra came up Monday (the 26^th). Dad took us red neck hot tubing. A few days later (Before) the big group came we had to go again (hot tubing), you know we had to put out the 3rd tube and make sure everything was setup up!! Dad had us roll in the snow then jump back in the hot water. Colvin loved it, I made Denali do it. 

We started our New Year resolution early. The naughty bucket, the boys have to sit for 2 min. (Colvin) 4 min (Denali). The best part was mom had a really cool timer.  This will be a lot easier in our own home. 

On Mom and Dad anniversary us (the girls) made breakfast for them. Then Trujillo and Charlotte told us they are having a boy. It was so cute they texted everyone.  

The BIG party started very late on the 29th. The next day we went to mom's School. I could never tell everything. SO FUN!! We made trains with wiggle cars, braided everyone hair (all unmarried girl) into little braids with beads at the end. Mom and Dad gave the women (married girls) the coolest cat PJ's. Everyone got cool animal sling shots and Trujillo made everyone swords (sad story; the swords have PVC pipe through the whole thing. I did not know, I was fighting with Greg and hit it finger. I almost broke a knuckle) TONS of FOOD Chicken Cor don Blu!!

The next day we had a piñata and did the family gift exchange. Sierra won with getting the most for your money. Go yard selling!! We also went hot tubing. (With all that work we better of) We had a hot, warm and cold pool. Great fun!! I totally flashed Preston getting out. You take off your suit in the water. Greg came with a towel so I was going to sneak out, NOPE he turned around just then. A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL. Tons of games, Abraham won the Zarahemla trophy. He told me he was going to sleep with it.

(I know I did not even write half of the fun but there is just no way to tell it all. I will let the pictures do most of the talking) The Nefs ended up coming for one day. 2 years till we have Brody again. He will be a great missionary.

Let 2017 be better than 2016! 

Story: Bayler got really sick one night, Dad Brenden and Greg gave him a blessing. The power of the priesthood.  Most everyone got sick at one point. We were joking that when the end of the world come we will all be safe, We will be like that was Christmas 2017 the rest of the world is way behind.
