Christmas

CHRISTMAS, I love that my kids are old enough to understand the magic of Christmas. Denali was in our room at 5:30 asking if Santa came and was it time to get up and open presents. Colvin was on our floor, so I told him Daddy and Colvin had to be up. At 6 he was calling Colvin are you up Dad get up. We were down stairs by 6:15. Denali looked at the Santa presents and said cool now here open this. We were kind of nervous that he did not like any thing but no he just was impatient. He was a slave driver when it came to opening presents. He would not let anyone stop and play or really look at anything till all the presents were done. (He about gave up on Colvin and told him if you don’t open his presents he was going to do it for him) We had to tell him to be nice, but Colvin was not going let him open anything, so the war was short.  I thought he would be sad when all the presents were open but nope he was happy to play with toys.  Santa had brought them each Legos, and a big racing track. Not sure who had more fun us or the boys. I got a lap top, makeup. Greg got cuff links and a sweater that did not fit. (I was so sad I owe him a sweater). The boys got candy, books, games, puzzles and so much more. We had a great morning.
We have had no snow this year (we got a skiff that we called a disappointing frost) Christmas morning we work up to a few inches of snow. The boys were over joyed. We made a snow man. Then went in the back yard and just played . We have fun sliding in piles, jumping out of swings and best of all snow balls.
We did make both they boys lay down before we went to Sonya for Christmas dinner. We hung out and played games, but we came home early to paly with our toys and relax.
The boys each made presents from school. (we had opened them early but still) Denali’s teacher made A CD of him singing Rudolph the red nose reindeer. I have watched it over and over. Still makes me cry every time. Then Colvin made a mistletoe board with his feet. That was the best present for me because I love my boy’s feet.
We got a belayed Christmas gift from Greg's dad. He gave us money. We wanted to give our boys something they would remember. We bought them a Wii with tons of extras and games.
The magic and love was over welling!!!
