Christmas

Christmas starts on the afternoon of the 24th for me. We went to Wal-Mart and did the $5 Gift. Dad had Mom, Mom had Denali, Denali had Colvin, and Colvin had dad. The boys did a wonderful job, they really had to think of what the other person would like. Example: Daddy would not like shopkins but he would Love a Nerf gun.

Christmas Eve; Denali had the Christmas jitters. (I so remember that) he could not sleep. We found an app that said Santa would be in Spanish Fork around 1. He keep looking at his clock, about 10 I had to go give him melatonin (he said he wanted to wait up for Santa). We told Denali he could not get out of bed till 6:30am and 632 he was in our room wondering why we were not up. Colvin of course was in our room and Denali made sure he was up by 635. 

Colvin was kind of scared that there would be no presents. (we had not taken anything down stairs till the night before because of cats) he was over joyed to see presents. They wanted to unwrap and play all at the same time. However, they got some toys with small parts so dad said unwrap then play. 

Santa brought an x-box 1, they had to wait all day to play since it took forever to download games. WOW are all 3 of my boys in love. The main games we got was a car racing game and mind craft. 

Everyone got green jazz shirts, I cannot wear mine now but family pictures are going to be fun because I even have a green jazz shirt for Azalyn. 

Here are some highlight gifts:

Dad: Clothing - onesie for Azalyn that said, "Hand picked from my Grandma in heaven" -computer

Mom: shoes- earning-hoodie

Boys: LOL ball-color changing car- drawing boards 

Denali: Will Mario party - trains tracks and lots of candy

Colvin: Hot wheel track - spin fighter-sand - microphone and lots of candy 

Games were our theme this year:  

Catch the Fox- Kingdomino- Stratego - Citadels- Splendor - Labyrinth

We even got Colvin to play a game with us. 

Late afternoon we went to the VA home. Tana had gotten a BIG Blimpie sandwich, most of the family was sick so there were tons of left overs. (worked our great for us, we ate yumyness for the next 3 days.)  My kid did good but we were all ready for bed. 

It was a great day just to be with and play with family.
