February

Party at the book ends. Started with Tana’s for the Super Bowl. 49ers and Chiefs, best part was the food. After the game, the little kids made up skits. My boys made up funny skits the rest of the month.
We had a snow day, first time in 2 yr., the funny thing is we got more snow 2 days later, but it was nice to have a day off. Of course, with a "snow" day we had to go sledding. I got new tubes and man do they fly. Funny story: I forget to tell the kids it was a snow day, at 8:40 Denali came running and yelling into my room that we would be late. After he learned he had the day off, he was happy to have more free time and let me sleep. The kids get free free time in the morning. The rest of the time they have to earn it. They are really good helpers. With the kindles I started giving them more freedom. There are two rules, when it comes to installing games. 1. It has to be free 2. No fighting games. I have deleted very few games. There are only two rules not much to  fight with. Keep it simple. We have all been sick. Colvin and Azalyn had ear infection. Mom had no energy that is not ok since there is always somewhere to go (karate). Denali had a horrible cough. Greg got it all with an extra dose of sines infection.
I had an Aw-Ha moment; in the scriptures they talk about loud laughing. I have never understood that since my family is loud. The Aw-Ha moments was we are loud and funny. Anyone and everyone from 2-92 can laugh with us. Then there is Cards Against humanity laughing. We put the littles to bed and there are cringing moments. It is funny in a crude way.  It is what you are laughing about.
Something Sad, we just have to have faith, Greg did not get the job. It was a hard hit. Denali was so cute he said, "Dad did you try your best then it is ok." Another sad, Greg’s TV STOPPED working twice. It was nice and hard not having a TV downstairs.
Azalyn has discovered stairs. Just one more way she can get hurt. Up is good but down not so smooth. The Boys do try to help, they crawl behind her.  Let us talk babysitting. They put her in a room lock the door and turn on their kindle, why she opens every drawer or takes out every book, or just generally destroys the room. Or they sit with her in her crib. No crying=good babysitting.
For Valentines we were at mom and dads. We stopped at the Wendell park to see Sierra.  Colvin really wanted a Ryan Shirt (since they were both missing their big Valentines "Parties" for School and the neighbor) I wanted to do something a little bigger. There was ONE Ryan shirt in a 6 at the Springville Walmart. The lord does care. It was so fun to see Azalyn and Zara together. They both have older sibling, so they know how to hold their own. Azalyn would push, Zara would take it for a while then push or slap back. Azalyn would then stop, and let Zara have a turn. I got to go check cows with dad. We got to see a new wet calf, and I caught a calf by the tail in the side by side. It was so fun. We also took the kids to check cows. They got to milk a mommy cow. Denali did not like his hands getting dirty. It is nice to relax at Bourns. Sierra and I went skinny dipping at the end in the dark, the best!! We ended the weekend at the Nef's for Breann’s Home Coming. It was so nice to see the Nef’s I really do miss them.
There is always more traveling. I went to see Denim’s and Darlin's end of year dance review. I was so glad I went. The drive home was ruff since Azalyn did not sleep but that just makes for a better story. I have to put this in; Timber made the BEST pork Taco's.
There is more: Greg took Denali to his Christmas Jazz game. Greg and Denali had a great time. Denali was asleep when they got home but still had to tell me all about it. I stayed home with sick kids, they went to be early. I got to watch Descendants 3.
TIM: I Cut my nipple one-night pumping. (not 100% sure how) I had red milk. I am getting close to being done.
I fixed our tramp net with chair legs caps. It was a proud mommy moment. A new net is $60+ chair leg caps $5. Funny mom moment: Colvin was playing in Greg's nigh stand and found a blue wand. He was mad I would not let him play with it. Love Life!
Sierra is coming for the Festival of Colors in March. My family has been doing fun "research". We went to jump around Utah, (part of my birthday see 3? blog) we found a new park in Orem. It is called an all-inclusive park. It is designed so kids in wheelchairs can play with normal kids. SOO fun with zip lines, cool swing, and ramps big enough that you are not running into each other. We made molding clay (see recipe below)
Thought: Life is like a Garden. You have to work at it for it to grow beautiful things.
Molding Clay:
1/2 Cup Cornstarch
4 oz Glue
2 T Baby or Olive Oil
1 T Lemon Juice
*Mix Cornstarch and glue till frosting consistency
Add Oil and Lemon mix well
put in Microwave for 30 sec at a time, till cottage cheese looking, mix till smooth put on corn starched service. When done it will form a teardrop when you pull it.
