JUNE

We still need out. My cousin lives close to the Jorden River. The boys and I floated it. (She was kind enough to watch Azalyn for me) Colvin was scared he was going to drown the whole time (with a life vest). Denali swam behind the paddle board most of the time. Lets talk water: Azalyn loves water but hates her life vest. I thought I would let her go under a few times, then she would put on her vest. Nope! after 9 times of going under she still hated her vest.  Exposer to water is key. Almost every Sunday we go out, with music, and play in the pool, (family pool night) We did a first as a family this year. We took our bikes to the splash pad, and drove to the reservation, all of us including Greg. That is the power of working from home. Greg is stressed the whole time around water, I relax and enjoy. With their life vest on I know the kids are ok.  Parks reopened; we took the kids back to the all abilities Park. Had just as much fun the 2nd time.  The boys (including Greg) new thing is Minecraft. Sundays are the best because they can play all day.
Having sisters are the best, good and bad influences. They all stared watching "Married at First Sight" I binge-watched a whole season in 3 days.  Sisters push you to do things (in a good way), example weight loss. I have been doing a 16:8 eating. I only eat 8 hours of the day, but you can eat anything.
Sad new; My hard drive crashed that had ALL my pictures from 2006. There is still hope but there were tons of tears. Good news: I bought all the boys school clothing on sale. I was told $12.99 for pants was good. I got them for $6.99. High Five me! They are going to a Charter school and have a uniform. Khaki pants (any shade) or dark blue, white, red, or blue polo.  Something scary; on the freeway a wrench hit my car. It hit the best place possible, 2 more inches and it would have been my engine or windshield.
Syringa needed out so I went to Timbers. First all the kids had small town fun. They went to the freeway over pass and had the cars and trucks honk at them. They did it for hours and it never stopped being exciting. Every honk was SO fun (I went with them for about 30 min). Then we had to “sneak” off to the dollar store to get candy. Timber took us to the lake, cold but fun. The main event. I cut off 10inch of hair.  When I got home, Greg dyed it purple. I LOVE it. The boys loved the purple. Azalyn was not so sure.
Charlotte gave me a skirt my mom made for Ralayna. Azalyn was so cute but too big. Azalyn loves to be outside with me. She is my "drinking" buddy.  I took the kids to the DI and made them wear mask. Colvin lasted about 10min and almost hyperventilated. School is going to be fun.  Mandatory mask order. Our neighborhood had a gourmet cotton candy company come. They made it into shapes and had different flavors. It was so fun to try.
I was finally able to get something out of my garden, radishes. An accomplishment: I finished the D&C Made Easy. Now on to the Old Testament. There is a Neighbor kids that comes over all the time. He spent 2 hours at our house one day washing walls. The boys wanted to go to his house, so they did not have to wash walls. I made the family clean the basement. Took us about an hour but looks so good.  We went to Tana’s house for Birthdays and she gave my kids a big wheel. The boys love it. A timer is our best friend. The boys got face paints and had to practice on everyone. (They got face paint because neighbor girls had a face paint stand) The boys love "sleeping" in new places. They wanted to start in the front room. I bet Greg they would stay for less than 5min. They were in our room 5min to the dot. We were finally able to see Hadley. The boys loved her, Azalyn liked her for about 2 min. Then she tried to sit on her (I was holding Hadley) Azalyn did try to "feed" her.
For our holiday week (Father’s Day, Anniversary and Greg’s Birthday) we went to Idaho. We had a voted boat or bourns (minus Mace and Me) voted bours. I could not get my boys on the swing, but Denali did take off his life jacket to swim. Greg and I were going to have a date night, but the hot tubes were too hot. It was still fun to have alone time driving. Mom wanted a chicken for Sunday dinner, so we all went out to kill a chicken. The boys were not impressed at first. However, during skinning Denali become fascinated. We brought frozen raw chicken feet home.
We got our railing put in. There is not much to say other than they are having to redo it. From far away it is very pretty but close up it needs help.
Thought: Live goes on just hang on for the ride.
