I had no plans
going to the reunion. About a week before Timber called and said come with me
Sierra will be there too. I went to hang out with my sisters.
Our first stop what at mom and dad’s new house. It is going to be so nice when they get it all done. Our 2nd stop was to see Grandma and Grandpa Amy. Grandpa is not going to make it long.
Finally, onto Mackey, we drove by a really nice campground and kept going, then a really nice park and kept going, then a nice golf course and kept going, they we hit dirt and rock and stopped. Timber brought her big tent so for one night we were all together.
The first night Azalyn cooped, it was a blessing that Timber was there to help me and walk me through what to do. I stayed up with her for about 2hrs. (it was a ruff few nights, but we made it) Denali was not Happy I left the tent. The next 2 night we (kids and I) got the opportunity to sleep in the motor home with mom and dad.
Mom brought a snow cone maker and donated all the proceeds to the family. It was really fun to help. Timber drove us out to where we use to live (I was 2 when we moved) it was so fun to hear Timber’s little kid memories stories. The Park still has the old playground equipment.
The highlight of the reunion was the baseball games. You would have thought we were cheering for the world series. Colvin went savage on me, he could not get enough of the sun and the dirt. Kids do not need toys they will find things to play with. We had to bring home their wands of power (huge sticks).
Timber is the Goddess for multi reasons, but it started with a packing. We went to church in Mackey, and I was determined to be ready when she was. As soon as my eyes were open, I was running. Packing finding all my stuff and getting my kids ready. I ran but I was packed when we left. I got in the van exhausted, Timber said I am glad we had time this morning I took it slow because I was not feeling 100%. I guess climbing the stairs to Olympus gets you in shape.
Timber let me drive about halfway home, and I almost got in 2 wrecks. One was a drunk driver, and one was a truck hitting a mattress. Good thing we endured church, BLESSINGS!
We had a great time. My kids made tons of memories, that is what it is all about. I am glad I went.
