Marriage tip: It
is NOT 50-50 it is 100% for both all the time. If you both give it your ALL,
ALL the time it will work out. It will not be Easy, but it will be worth it.
Tip 2: You have to let Heavenly Father guide you. Two imperfect people cannot
make a marriage work. You are going to need help.
Greg took the week off, so we went to Lagoon for 4 days. Some highlights: We stayed at the shadiest hotel ever. Greg was sure we were going to come out in the morning and our van was going to be on blocks. They had "Breakfast”, but the muffins were hard, and the milk was hot. We went to Wal-Mart and got food. The first night someone did try to come into our room (I am going to say it was maintenance)
Lagoon highlights: It was so hot; we would go get wet first thing. Then throughout the day we wet the kids’ shirts down. We actually forgot the stroller, but it worked out. Greg took Azalyn home, so she got a nap. (Greg was able to put her down for a nap with him most days). I took the boys to Lagoona beach one day with tubes. Then one day just swimming. They realized how great Splash summit was. They had their summer shows and each boy (Denali twice) got to go on stage. One night Colvin sleepwalked to our bed and asked if him and Denali could go on rides. We told him to go back to bed; he cried because we were making them stay with us. (He did not remember any of it in the morning) On the way home we had to stop at 3 mavericks to get Dr. Pepper Slushies.
A fun miracle for the boys. They had waited in line for a ride. The car before them stalled, and it looked like the ride was going to be shut down. Without talking to each other they both said a prayer in their heart. They were able to do a fast fix and the ride stayed open. When they got on the ride, they both said glad we prayed.
The boys loved all the BIG rides (after I carried them on) the last 2 days they wanted to be too big and responsible. They took my phone and would just call us every few rides. It was GREAT. Greg and I just got to hang out with Az.
Greg is truly my best friend. After 15yrs I just love him lots and lots. On Tik-Tok I took a wife test. I have a 9 out of 10 spoiled wife. Happy wife happy life :)
