Colvin and Holden

The 2nd half of August started in, New Mexico. We had some errands to run so we went a different way. We went through Globe, it was a really pretty drive. I have never seen New Mexico so Green. There is grass that has flowered that Ace has never seen.
Highlight: Maverick! On the way there and home. On the way home Denali was with Timber, and he talked to her the whole time about it. Azalyn was with me and mom and chanted Nacho's most of the way.
Holden: It has been raining every day in New Mexico. It rained about an hour before the baptism. However, that was a blessing because it was then perfect weather. Holden was so cute getting into the cold water. It was a miracle that they were able to do it outside. We tried to go swimming in the stock tank after, but it was Freezing. Dance party followed!! We were able to do a fire since most of New Mexico is Green and not brown. We had mighty stick hunters, (who could carry the biggest one)
All the kids left on the side by side. Denim, Sierra, McCarty and I went skinny dipping. Dad was our driver. We almost got stuck in the tank. I Laughed so hard my ribs were hurting.
Story time: I left early to get my house ready for the family to come. I took Azalyn and mom. Azalyn had a flower that she was licking I said gross Az don't do that. She informed me that Zaleah did it and it was good. We had to talk about how we don't eat everything Zaleah eats Like flowers and tad poles.
I guess Timber and I both had little (or not so little) freak outs before everyone came. Mom got to witness both. She was so happy that she was not the only one that stressed but loved when everyone came.
ARIZONA: Everyone had to jump in the pool at 9PM the moment they ran through the door, Denali also had popcorn going before I got a hi mom. The first night we were having girl talk (destressing). Dad went skinny dipping. He has been waiting for months (since last time he came)
Colvin: Colvin's baptism was so sweet. Rhonda was so proud of him. McCarty gave a talk just for him about how he needs to give credit where credit is due when he follows a prompting (finding sunglasses at the lib). Colvin was so excited and the smile on his face was priceless.
We had the gym most of the day. McCarty taught everyone the tortilla game, (you hold water in your mouth, then play paper rock scissors. The winner gets to hit the loser in the face with a tortilla.) Baler won over his mom and the astonishment on his face when he realized he got to hit his mom with a tortilla. Then he was going to make it count. We all lost (spit our water out).
Everyone just wanted to swim 90% of the time. One lunch we were all scarfing down food. Someone looked over and Zaleah was in the pool naked no floaties with pool noodles.  We went on a night hike to a waterfall.  It was a memory maker. Since dad got to go skinny dipping and Mom and Timber missed out, in the Stock Tank.  The Moms (and Denim) went one night and made up a dance. Stress reliever!
We had so much fun. I cannot wait till December. Let the pictures tell more stories.
I had bought a shirt, “I am fine everything is fine” ALL the moms went home and purchased their own shirt.
