Christmas

 I made very little Christmas candy.  My reasoning is that if I don’t make it, I will not eat as much, NOPE!  Azalyn was the big candy maker.  Pass it down from Generation to Generation. 

We drew names and shopped for the $5 gift on Saturday then opened them on Sunday.   Never go shopping the weekend before Christmas. 

Grandpa HAD Azalyn GOT a unicorn ball nerf gun.

Grandma HAD Colvin GOT a penny board.

Greg HAD Denali GOT a science kit.

Syringa HAD Grandpa GOT him nerf golf balls and candy.

Denali HAD Grandma GOT her a 1000-piece puzzle.

Colvin HAD Greg GOT him an ornament and candy.

Azalyn HAD Syringa GOT her nail polish and a shirt.

We went to a family Christmas performance at the church.  Then we went for Ice Cream.  

When we got home, we put the kids to bed then Greg and I had to run and get our Jimmy Johns for Christmas.  (Almost forgot it) 

On Sunday we went to the Gathering Christmas performance.  I loved it, it totally rejuvenated my soul.  I sang and danced to my heart’s content.   The kids loved the bounce houses, ice skating, pony rides, face paint, cotton candy, and toys.  The message :Go to church any church the first 4 weeks of the year and see what it does for you. 

Christmas morning:

We did not give the kids a wake-up time, but we did tell them we had to wait for everyone to get up and they could not wake up anyone.   Azalyn was the one we all waited on.   Azlyn got a flipping bar (she likes the swing part the best) Colvin got a digital boxing game, it is a workout.  Denali got switch case and games.   I have not even been asked to play.   It was a crazy mom help me, mom play with me, DAY.   I went to bed with a smile on my face.  Note for family I am really good at clue.  Colvin likes to play games when we make him.

We all got matching PJ’s.

All the kids got crocks and charms, I think the kids might of tried to sleep in them.

All the kids got PRIME!

Colvin got a rip stick, has taken to it like a duck to water.  His new favorite thing.

Denali got a pogo stick we are still working on.           

Greg got lots of new clothing and hand (finger) sign from Denim.

Mom got a table fire pit (Greg also bought all the stuff for s’more) makes the marshmallows black but still taste good.   She also got a 40 oz knock off Stanley. (she feels so bouchée)

Azalyn Mom and Dad got new bikes.   I love riding my bike, Azalyn and Greg love it less. 

We did go on one family bike ride with both Dogs and kids.  It was a little much, but it will make for a really good story, someday.  A Great time was had by ALL!
