Birthday, I turned 38 this year. Greg and I got to go away for a few days. We combined birthday and Valentines together.
The one damper on our trip was he had 6 days to find a
car. The bolt was officially totaled. It
ended up being really fun test-driving lots of cars. He got the car he really wanted; Kia EV6, GT-line.
It is an all-electric. We named it Fancy and renamed the Honda Sugar short for
Sugar Daddy. Greg really is my best friend,
and we can have fun doing anything.
Some highlights from our trip (other than the car): we
got to see Javelinas (wild pigs), we went to a casino (they had a buffet with
all you can eat Prime Rib) I had $48 in my wallet, so we split it up and gambled. Greg actually won $60. He was great and knew
when to stop. Me on the other hand NOPE!
There was a hot tub and a pool. The
first night we were going hot-tubing and Greg discovered that I had packed
Denali’s swim shorts. Got them on but had to buy something else for the next
day.
We went to Maverick, and I ate my face with 2 hotdogs and 44
oz. slushy. We also went to the La Casita
in Arizona, I stuffed my face. My tummy was not happy with me, but I had a smile
on my face.
For my Birthday I wanted to go to Jimmy Johns for lunch.
I picked it up then took Az to a park. I
did not want to clean. I picked up then read. I did not want to cook, so I
picked up pizza. I wanted a cheesecake with caramel. Thank you, Costco! Az was
not happy she did not get to decorate my cake.
The kids thought it was so fun to do hang over. I got a Harry Potter shirt “MOM: Manager of Mischief.”
Lot of chains for my: “I love you to the moon and back” pendant. A Capri jump suit,
so cute but very hard to go pee in. I also got to see my Levi quilt finished. I
had worked on it all month (I have wanted one for 5 yrs. Now I have made a quilt
for every member of the house.) However, when I finished it, I did not look at
it. Overall, it was a Great WEEK!
