 I am putting this in for my own peace of mind. I am going to miss things. I am going to forget things and that is ok.  If you get anything out of my books, know I love my family!

Azalyn started Tumbling, she was SO excited all week but when it came Friday, she was not overjoyed.  As soon as Tumbling was over, she had a huge smile and said she loved it.  Thanks to Family history Azalyn learned to start on her own bike. Her big and little bike. Now bikes are the best and she rides them all the time.  With Azalyn’s Asma every 3 mons when we go to the doctor, we fill out a survey and get an Asma score. Gole is under 5, we were at 10. We have work to do.

Family history story: Why we were watching family home videos, there was a video of me riding a bike (on the video it stated I had just leaned.) The bike was really little for me. A light bulb went on, Azalyn needed to feel safe to ride on her own, hence we went back to the little bike and the big bike followed.

Denali fasted on his own. Actually, he reminded us. He fasted that he could get a “A” in science.  Denali has loved young men’s.  One night they made dinner. He then came home and made dinner for us. Dirty nachos, nachos with tater-tots. They were really good.

Colvin will come home and do his homework at the speed of light and then outside. His favorite thing to do is rip stick rain or shine. He slept one night with Grandma, he slept really well since he had a warm body to touch all night, I am not sure how grandma slept.

Now that Azalyn does not need me out to ride a bike, The kids bike all the time rain or shine.

Why mom was here I was finally able to run to the temple. I forget how much I love doing initiatory. The impression I got was life is going to get crazy you better get your stuff together. I came home with a fire under my butt. I started to organize every room in my house.  With mom’s help I got every room touched.

I love going to the gym with mom on Saturday. There is a very hard water aerobics class. I would love the gym, but it takes soo much time. Mom and I got to go to an RS activity together. I really love just hanging out with her.

News brake: Mom is being brave and keeping busy, but she is really missing my dad. Reminder he is visiting Australia not living there (like Azalyn tells everyone.)

We watched the Super Bowl, and I ate way too much junk. Mom and I have been doing keto so on a cheat day if I overdo it, I feel sick.  Moms get 24 hrs. on the weekend to be sick.

Dog story: Oreo went into heat and Marshmallow LOVED it. Only he is kind of broken. To keep this PG, he cannot get it out, but man does he TRY.  Azalyn asked, “mom what is Marshmallow doing to Oreo. I said trying to have babies. She said” Is that why he is hugging her and moving his hips”. “YES sister. “

VALENTINES DAY: Mom got all the kids’ balloons. I got teachers, mom, Greg and the kids Carmel apples. For school we made Colvin’s valentines (thank you google) and taped candy bracelets to them. For Azalyn we made Minnie Mouse.  Each kid got something. Denali got a big bag of purple Doritos, Colvin a stuffie from the school, Azalyn play-dou. I do love my family. Greg has put in some big hours, see other post we did Valentines and my birthday together.   Denali had a doctor appointment, so I got him out early and went on an ice cream date.

Grandpa update. Azalyn just wanted pictures of Kangaroos. He did send a few. She took a picture for “K” her teacher even asked did grandpa sent the pictures.  Colvin wanted a picture of a kiwi bird. They are nocturnal but dad went to a special zoo and got to see them, send pictures for Colvin.

Azalyn story: She told me she wanted to be Jesus. Why, so that everyone will listen to me? But what if they don’t, then I put them in Heaven. I guess lots of people are going to heaven.   Other day: mom, do you know why I am shy going into school sometimes. Why sis, so my teacher gives me bigger hugs?

Going to Idaho had its fun moments. Dad hooked up a sled behind the side by side. The kids loved it. I let the boys drive, and they were not sure what was more fun driving or getting pulled. At the funeral there were lots of old friends of my parents. A family dad grew up with Smith’s (3 of the boys were at the funeral). Azalyn and I were in line with them for food. Azalyn was shocked that Grandpa had friends. We got Azalyn to play with Acacia and have fun. She said mom now I need a 5 yr. old sister.  On the way home I did not feel great, I did not get enough sleep and ate too much. I listened to a 10-hr. book.

Azalyn had a zoo day; the whole family went. Since we have been to this zoo a few times we were going to make it a short day. We just wanted to see some of the shows and finally see the area we had never seen. After walking through the whole zoo seeing every show we left after 2.  Azalyn faced her fear and went into the bird cage and even held a bird.

Greg and I were talking about how he is a deer, and I am a mermaid. I said the mermaid wanted to see the mountains and fell in love. Denali piped up, “stupid mermaid.” Greg sings to the kids every night. For our trip I recorded him singing “their” songs. I have to add it is very sexy.
