Staycation

When Greg went back to school we decided that when he was done we would take a small vacation. We brought a groupon deal for Park City at the end of what what we thought was his last class. (Turned out he has one more class) Oh well we went on our staycation and to Park City and had a good time. (Greg did work almost every day but we can "work" with that.) No matter if you are going for one night or 5 you take about the same amount of stuff. Denali had to take his duck, monkey and blanket. He carried out and to the room all by himself. He needs comfort things in a new place.

The room was amazing, really one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. You left your key at the front door because it was a real key with a huge key ring. (FYI: did not take a ton of pictures camera was acting funny and kind of did not think about our phones). 

We checked in about 4, and went to dinner. Denali was starving, no crayons so him and I got to playing. I will play try to kiss mom anytime. Then we did red box (lego movie) and ice cream. Ice cream makes Deanli crazy. He was running around the room till almost 11. (I think there was us and maybe one other person in the whole place). 

The continental breakfast was the worst I have ever had (that is saying a lot). There was one muffin (ONE) Deanli and I split it. Then some bird food that I put milk on. (We only did that once thank heaven I had brought muffins to snack on.)  That day we walked main street. We went to the Family History Center. Best stop watched a church movies, Greg and I both cried. Then we shopped, since Denali was so good he got to ride a toy airplane, he loved it. That night we went to the hot tub. I did not think Denali was going to ever leave. Then we did a bubble bath. 

The next morning we went to the zoo. Denali favorite show right now is dinosaur train. At the zoo they had a train. All day Denali's keep asking choo choo peees. We let him ride the train, I am not sure he breathed the whole time. I made it to the bird show this time it was really cool. Then Denali and I played under the elephant. Home!!! Had a wonderful time.
