July

June was so crazy that of course it spill over to July. Mom and Sierra come down for the Nef reunion (Albert Nef family) I only knew my family. We took mom to Zootopia, it was a zoo mom keep asking if we wanted to leave. Popcorn and kids running the whole time.
After the reunion we went to fireworks and bowling with Greg’s family. We were really hoping that the boys would take a nap why we traveled but no luck. The boys loved bowling the first game. (we went bowling a few times after, it was  $0.99 bowling) During the fireworks Colvin was out and Denali keep asking to go home. They were both asleep 5min after we left. We did fireworks for 2 nights. This whole summer has been late nights and my boys are feeling it.  (sorry not a ton of pictures I still don’t have a phone).
Went to the Drive in and watch Finding Dory, SO cute I cried. I told Denali that he had to take a nap so we could go watch a movie in the Van. He asked if we were going to Grandma house. Time for a commercial brake; we bought a Kodi box from Amazon. Wonderful! It has every movie you can think of. Sierra and I thought of every movie we could. We have watched Finding Dory a few times. Ok back to life!
We are stilling using our Pass of all Passes like crazy. We go for about 2 hours perfect. We meet Greg after work because the boys love going down the big slide. A few fun stories: I took the boys and was taking the tube back. I told the boys to stay together. On my way back Denali came and found me. I asked were Colvin was he said, “With the nice man.” Yes, for 2 steps I was panicked, he was holding the life guards hand.
I have done a ton of cleaning. Denali has stepped up, he takes Colvin on rides on the red truck all the time. He takes him to the "Big Hill" so they can run down and pick up rocks. They do a good job of watching out for each other. The funny thing is Colvin will listen to Denali.  If Denali has to come get me for a reason Colvin will stay were Denali tells him too.
There are times I just have to stop and be a mom. We went to the park and the boys wanted an adventure so we took a walk. We stuck on feet in very cold water. Denali loved it, Colvin not so much.  I love being a mom more than anything.
I have to put in a plug for Greg. He is a wonderful father, his kids are his number one. Since we have been so busy with the house we have really tried to get out and play with them. They love when daddy comes home. Best part of the day for ALL!
For the 24th they have a children parade.  Our ward made colored dust and had all the kids wear white shirts. SO cute (we won) and the kids loved it. I walked with Denali. At the park there were tons of free games. There were a tons of people but it was the crazy good kind of fun.
Colvin is doing great with speech. I only wish we could do it more often. He can say; popo (purple) boo (blue) Boon (balloon) ba (ball) yalo (yellow) oh wow, ya, me, ma, da, na (Denali).
I took the boys to a park in the bike trailer. A lady come up to me at the park and said her neighbor had extra bread. I went to see what there was and the whole back of her pickup was FULL of bread. I filled up the bike trail as full as I could. YES manan from Heaven.
A few stories about life: Denali is my goof, I have very few normal pictures of him. He loves to play and laugh. He thinks everything is funny.  However, he can be a monster when he get tired or stressed. I really have to watch myself with him. He loves to play X-box with his dad. It is more fun to listen to him laugh then watch him play. Over all I have loved this 4 year old stage. He is old enough to be fun and do things but still my baby.
Colvin: He keeps me on my toes. One very happy thing he finally passed a hearing test. (we just have to wait for the left tube to come out). He loves to play with markers, he loves to color himself. I actually think it is really cute. One new rule in our house; no money up your butt. I found two quarters once in his diapers and up between his butt checks. Colvin loves all things babies, he is really soft and gentle.
One movie I could not find on the Kodi box was Saturday Warriors That is why we had youtube. I cried the whole time. Being a mom changes you.
Stories: How do you get a whole list of to dos done when you really don't want too. Get mad and it will all get done. I actually thanked Greg after my list got done. One word of advice Don't Get In My Way!
*I graduated from physical therapy on my knee. There is still pain but I have my range of motion back.
* We are 100% when it come to being the loudest in church and we are 100% for taking at least one kids out every Sunday for being bad. We will get blessing for going.
*We are under contract with our house, lets just see what happens.
* We had a surprise showing and had to leave fast. The kids had no shoes and no pants.
* We had a cousin party. Greg tried to have fun and half way enjoyed himself. The power of an attitude.
* I told Denali that he was a monkey one morning. He had to explain to me that he was not a monkey because he does not like Bananas. I love how his brain works.
* A few things my family has taught me; Dad: hard work. Mom:love you no matter what, return with honer. Grandpa Nef: tighten up your scrotum, Never grow all the way up since you cannot grow down. Grandma Nef: You can do it.
