Happy mommy

When you are a mom it is the milestones that make it all worth it.

Milestone one: Denali has started to clean up. He can do more than I make him because I run out of patience. So I started to tell him what to do and what his reward will be when done and then I will do my own thing. Sometimes it takes him 2 minutes, other times much longer, like all day. For his room I made him a sticker chart. I have to remind him that he gets a sticker but he is usually good about it.  When it is his idea he will do it.

That bring us to Milestone 2: he went pee pee in the pot twice. I made a big deal and gave him two treats, but he's not that interested. I totally believe he will be potty trained in one day when it is his idea. 

Milestone three: Friends I invited over have a little boys that use to be in nursery with Denali but because of birthdays they are not any more. I worked with his mom for a long time in activity days. It took them about 15 min to warm up to each other but they they had fun. Fun side note; I have know this lady for years. We just discovered that her parents are in Sierra's ward and her dad works with Preston in scouts. 

 

*being a mom is not all about the Happy times. In the future I will laugh. 

1.We had an activity days and had to take all kids on a hike. Of course Colvin fell asleep on the way to the hike and Denali did not take a nap that day. 3 kids 1 no nap 1 very little nap and 1 nap but coping the others. WOW I was so tired and glad to be home. 

2. It was one of those days - (the days that you just need out) we went to the river park. Then Denali wanted to go on a walk. He just kept going. Then on the way back he did not want to walk. I had him on my shoulders and Colvin mobied.  What a fun time!!
